Which one is Dear Alice Scientology? Here's an old one: HCO bulletin of November 5, 1959, scientology games for children. Scientology Games #1 NAME : "WATCH HIM" POSITION: Children are divided in pairs, seated facing each other with knees almost touching. GAME: Each child sits comfortably and relaxed in his chair perfectly motionless, watching the other, with his full attention on the other. If either moves, the other wins. He says "WIN", and marks one point on his score sheet, then the Game resumes, (Time:15 min.) (TEACHERS NOTE: The purpose of this game is to extrovert the attention of the introverted child, to make the day dreamy child more aware of his environment and of other children, To build the child';s confidence and poise in facing others. To help the over-active child to bring his body under control and to raise general alertness. Each child will become more aware of the other as he watches for movements. ) Scientology Game #2 NAME: 'MAKE ME BELIEVE IT' POSITION: Same as Game #1. One child in each team holds a school book. He picks a phrase from the book, and gets the idea as his own (as if he had just thought it up himself), and the other child says, "I believe it", and the reader marks down one point. He then takes another sentence or phrase. He has five chances in all. If it sounds false in any way, the listener says, "Make me believe it". The reader must then use the next of his five chances to repeat that phrase and make it sound real and believable to the listener. If he repeats it five times unsuccessfully he gets one point anyway. The book then passes to the other child who becomes reader. (Time: 15 minutes, or an even number of turns.) (TEACHERS NOTE: This game will be found to greatly improve reading. Its purpose is to improve the child's ability to get what he wants to say successfully across to someone else. To make him more confident that his ideas are important enough to state. To overcome reluctance to originate, such as extreme bashfulness, whining, etc. To teach the "chatterbox" to speak more effectively with fewer words.) Scientology Game #3 NAME: "I HEARD THAT" POSITION: As in other games. GAME: One child holds a school book. He puts his full attention on the book and begins saying, "I heard that". If the reader falters, loses his place or looks up, he then challenges the other with, "What did I say?" If the listener can repeat the last sentence he heard he wins a point. If he cannot the reader continues. If "I heard that" fails to take the others attention off his reading or if he cannot answer, "What did I say?" he is allowed three tries and then the book changes hands. This Game can be adapted to the pre-reading ages by having these children count, recite the alphabet, nursery rhymes, etc. (Time advised: 15 minutes.) (TEACHERS NOTE: The purpose of this Game is to make the child more alert to what others (teachers and parents especially) say to him. To actually hear them and understand what is said to and expected of him. It also improves the reader's ability to concentrate his attention on his work.) ********** TEACHER"S NOTE: These games must be presented as GAMES to the children, for their enjoyment, not as drills. All of these Games are to be supervised by the teacher, and arranged so that children of parallel standards are playing together, The teacher should make sure, by checking scores, that no child is being overwhelmed by his opponent and that all children have a chance and are encouraged to win. (15 minutes per GAME is advisable, preferably in the morning.) It is advised that Games be played one per week in the correct order. ********** ----and remember, scientology uses similar names to real groups , as Applied Scholastics has NOTHING TO DO WITH
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration Asssumiing this is the same name, there is a double standard for Scientology, in that A Plus Educational Centers are also listed in the Service Provider List for the California State Board of Education, along with Applied Scholastics. not even a d/b/a? ---LIARS!: Final List of Approved Providers: Cohort 09 - Title I, Part A-Accountability (CA Dept of Education) Final List of Approved Providers: Cohort 09 This Web page identifies those providers who have been approved by the State Board of Education. Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration Regarding California From the list of Service Providers in California (State Board of Education) Here is one I randomly chose: Final List of Approved Providers: Cohort 09 - Title I, Part A-Accountability (CA Dept of Education) "ACE Tutoring Services, Inc." The website for these tutors lists the fact that they are a service provider, it's even bolded: http://www.acetutoringofusa.com/about.php ABOUT US ACE Tutoring Services Inc. was founded in 1997 by a group of educators who believe in the effectiveness of 1-on-1 tutoring, and has helped improve the grades of thousands of students. We offer in-home private tutoring services to students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, as well as adults. Our philosophy is to help students of all ages achieve their academic goals, by providing tutors of the highest quality. ACE Tutoring is also approved by the Department of Education as a supplemental educational service provider. Another example: A to Z in Home Tutoring http://www.atoztutoring.com/parent_nochild_leftbehind.htm A to Z in-Home Tutoring is the premier provider of in-home tutoring services in a number of states. Children at schools that qualify for No Child Left Behind tutoring can receive free tutoring paid for by the school district through federal grants. To qualify, a school must be in its second year of school improvement. Talk to your school principal to see if your child's school qualifies. For more information on No Child Left Behind visit: www.nochildleftbehind.gov Now why would Scientology not use this compliant language being approved in California? Maybe A Plus and Applied Scholastics have not really been approved (validly)? Let the scienteaparty begin
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration Every time I read the title of this thread, I see Operation School PRON
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration Let's not let this project fall by the way side. A whole new school season will be starting in September, and earlier in some places which is only months away. Let's make sure that schools, colleges and schools that use tutoring services know about Applied Scholastics,The Drug Free Marshals, Narconon, THe CCHR, Youth For Human Rights, ect by warning them BEFORE they are contacted. Berfore they get in and talk to students. Thankfully it was posted that COS has posted some of these front groups (not all I mentioned) on their website now at the bottom of the page! Thanks for helping out COS!!! Now if any school does visit the Scientology site, they will know that these groups are Scientology for sure! SO POON AWAY! And let't educate everyone about these Sci front groups.
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration I saw calgary's narconon organisation in this post so i read it. Ill take note of this and email various calgary schools on my anonymous email and see what can be done. its kind of lame in this city though we already took care of the church of Scientology over a year ago so nothing goes on anymore lol.
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration by that i mean the scilons packed and ran from calgary XD
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration THis idea came to me a bit ago... but haven't acted on it for several reasons... "NOW IS THE TIME!!!" as TOm boy said it.
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration found this, it is dated 2004: "A Scientology-backed tutoring program looks to expand in the Houston area Project CALL already has a working relationship with Fort Bend Justice of the Peace Joel Clouser. Clouser gives first-time truants the chance to spend a day volunteering or being tutored at Project CALL instead of paying a fine. "I've had a lot of parents and kids to say they've really improved once they went to them," Clouser says. "It's like anything: You get out of it what you put into it." Clouser says he was unaware of the Scientology connection, but he's never received a complaint about religion being preached at Project CALL. "I'm not concerned about Scientology," he says. "I'm not a Scientologist…the only thing I was interested in was the program." Between the Lines - Page 1 - News - Houston - Houston Press Judge Joel C. Clouser, Sr. 303 Texas Parkway (FM 2234), Room 107 Missouri City, TX 77489-1133 About Clouser: "He uses innovative alternative sentencing programs that place emphasis on the development of the youth in our community, and he is a regular speaker at our area schools. He also works diligently with school administrators to help abate the serious truancy problems that our community schools are experiencing." Do not know if this program is still running or if Clouser still refers kids to this program? Couldn't find much on Project CALL. There is a Project Call in Baltimore. listed under Educational Services Project Call 5710 Bellona Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21212

You can see they offer something similar to an OCA, but for study skills rather than an OCA free personality test. Anyone want to bet their testing is rigged, just like the OCA results are rigged?
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't the schools get in trouble for violating the 1st Amendment about separation of church and state? Considering that all these front groups are using the Scientology 'religious' tech as a way up the bridge... 2lazy2rsrch
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration Great idea, RightOn. Great Ideas throughout this thread! Two things: 1. Targeting school principals and officials in active COS area is critical. 2. A personal letter in closed envelope WILL (99% sure) be read by the Principal receiving it and PUT ON FILE. (cya). That could be very useful in the event Narconon attempts to get in - there's already an objection on file, so it's not worth the risk. Again, cya Postcards are fine, but they have a greater chance of not be taken quite as seriously as the careful, articulate, letters that Anons write. And I mean that sincerely, you're all GREAT letter writers! Credits and internets to "EpiphanyAnon"
Re: OPERATION SCHOOL POON - Stop The Infiltration It is only considered religious tech when it is convenient for COS to say so

moar docs and pdfs with Applied Scholastics listed on the Kansas listed on the Kansas State Department of Education site http://www.google.com/cse?cx=004157208024600966287:zapcdn3w8cc&cof=FORID:0&q=applied scholastics
Mad MOfag jumping in here. I'm in contact with a local reporter and getting poons together for an upcoming article. Also getting together addresses and names for all of the appropriate MO points of contact concerning AS. Some anons are helping me on the back side and I really appreciate their help. I'm thinking that taking Applied Scholastics down in their own backyard would be pretty embarrassing for them and definitely lulzy for us. Thanks for all the hard work some of you have already done.
I'll just leave this here: http://www.taxexemptworld.com/organization.asp?tn=1844129 I'm definitely not a genius, but why is a Pastor signing for a purportedly secular educational organization?
may be time to necro this thread in light of the Village Voice article? Although this thread is from 2010 and stuff may be aout of date, I am sure there is some usefull stuff here http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2012/08/scientology_recruitment_film_michael_fairman.php
