The power is in the peoples' hands as consumers. If enough of us commit to one hour, at the same time and on the same day, of using NO power whatsoever, we would show that power.
We have no need for martyrs and allowing a handful of hackers to take the rap isn't necessary or fair on them.

perhaps they are trying to get an idea as to how big we are? It would be nice to have an idea as to how big we are. Either that, or its someone that wants to free up some bandwidth for a huge bodytheatan porn a thon.
