Why do people feel it necessary to insult a grieving widow? Yvonne is devasted at the loss of her husband. For 25 days she did not leave the hospital in which Piers was being treated. Although I agree entirely that scientology is a dangerous cult is it really necessary to make personal and insulting remarks about people. This site is doing a valuable job at making people aware of this bizzarre group but do stick to the facts.

As someone who spent a lot of time in hospital with a terminally ill person this year (and spent plenty of nights sleeping in a chair at the bedside), I call bullshit on this post.

Know something else? I don't give a fuck if Yvonne is insulted because there are plenty of people out there devastated at not being able to see their loved ones because of Scientology's disconnection policy.

Perhaps more people would be made aware of the dangers of scientology if you were a little more rational with your arguments. I came looking for this site after coming into contact with the strange world of scientology. I found it worrying how quickly they could made their views seem 'reasonable'. I have voiced my concerns on this site and find myself also being insulted. I work daily with critically ill patients so don't appreciate comments that I am bull shitting. I just ask that you take your anger and bitterness and focus it into something positive. Did any of you get involved with scientology? We all made errors of judgement. When you are faced with critical illness and then the loss of a loved one, can you imagine reading the things some of you write. I find it difficult to believe any of you would think it were fair game. But hey I am only human....

I would say my skin is plenty thick enough. I am not out to sabotage anything. I am a person who was forced into contact with the scientology 'healing' process and wondered if anyone was doing anything about these people. I am not one of them nor would I ever want to be but they are a convincing bunch I notice, when people are in a vulnerable position.

I totally agree. By seeking medical advice following onset of chest pains can save lives. There are a number of procedures which can prevent a heart attack from occuring. However once the heart has already been catastrophically damaged there isn't a great deal that can be done, other than a heart transplant. Unfortunately the scientology 'healers' think this all to be nonsense and prefer to rely on their own 'assists' or whatever they are. Laying a finger on someone is not going to turn back time, if only....

they tend to type in huge blocks with hardly any punctuation or line breaks, ie just like a KR, which would mean the first part of freeing oneself from clam-hood would be some english classes.
