Why is it no one goes and buys a few helium balloons on a long string to fly a banner over the barrier? Maybe it shouldn't be done just out of respect but it would be too funny if one of those inter-event pictures had a banner that said MISCAVIGE BEATS HIS STAFF visible while he's talking.

i had the same idea, but i was thinking more along these lines:

At about the 1:30 mark is the XENU sign that is on tall poles. It was tall enough to be seen over the fence at the Celebrity Center. I can imagine people eating lunch there, looking out and seeing a bouncing "XENU" going by.

Between the knocking knees and shaky hands and the fact that the mask and hooded cape really messed with my vision - I had wondered into the crossing alone.

So here I am heart pounding, legs weak - female, 5'4" girl walking across the street. All I could think to do was to hold my sign up. I held it across my chest and walked into what I didn't realize was a crowd of scientologists. (oh wow I just remembered one other thing.... ) first a tall early 30 something guy shouldered me as he walked by. I just thought to myself "oh well, it's not like I didn't move" hmmm... some of that old scientology 'expecting to be mistreated' feeling perhaps? but then..

I am in the crowd of scientologists and out of no where this teal shoulder is being brought down in front of me and when his shoulder starts to touch me he swung his balled up fist in a sort of upper cut to my gut. I don't know where the sign was or how he made contact with my body without destroying my sign, I really don't.

So I stumble and sorta keep walking across the street. I started re-playing what had just happened in my mind from beginning to end and something happened. I realized that guy did that on purpose. He PLANNED it ahead of time and quite frankly executed it beautifully. I suddenly SAW RED. I was PISSED. I stopped turned around and saw the guy and LOST IT. I screamed "THAT MAN JUST HIT ME!!! THAT MAN JUST PUNCHED ME IN THE STOMACH!!" No one seemed to get what I was saying and I just got more enraged.

I RAN over to the guy - this guy was over 6'1" and an easy 250 lbs, he was a big guy. I fucking grabbed that man by his arm (the arm of the same said shoulder by the way) and I literally shoved him over to the police. I said directly to the police officer "This man just punched me in the stomach!"

His only response was "I didn't see it so there is nothing I can do." It was stupid but I was pissed so I asked the police officer "So, officer, Can *I* punch scientologists in the stomach? I mean I just have to make sure you don't see it right?" yeah dumb but I was pissed and I kinda have a mouth.

Actually Tory was not assaulted by the same guy but another guy at the l ron hubbard birthday event last month as seen in this video at 7:15 mark

Even though i didn't have my camera aimed at the incident i did see what happened. The scientologist walked right into Tory, a thought at first it must of been an accident if only because i could not get my mind around that a man would purposefully walk right into a women with the intent to do harm. Thinking back on it and watching the video it was intentional. Take a look how quickly the guy plays it off "watch what your doing" and has no concern about Tory. Nice people!

Tory did go to the cops as there were three standing to my immediate left, the incident happened about 10 feet to my right, Tory went to the cops right away and they blew her off in similar fashion. "I didn't see it happen"

So now we have two big cowardly scilon women hitting bullies on the loose!

alright, here is what I believe is the viewing area (I could be wrong). now is there anyone that's good at making estimates able to tell me a more accurate number of people that might be able to see the front of the org?

^ Looking at the picture earlier we could see that the lower section of the parking lot was closed off. Kinda like, if you enter from LRH way you can go straight through the parking lot, but you can't turn left after the entrence.

So, the camera would catch about a third of the crowd if the lot was full (except for the closed off area) and the position of the camera you pointed out is somewhat correct.

My guestimate is 1,000 - 1,500 people. The 1,500 number is being VERY generous. I'm sure that there were sea org and staff inside so lets be nice and say that makes up for the extra few hundred. I will say 1,500 total....INCLUDING whomever was inside.

I think I know the person that walked by the guy. I am not sure but he might be Dan Bluemel. the walk and clothing style is his. He is on the right walking out of the pic.

He may know of the person as he just walked by him. He has a blog on the web. It might not be him but I am pretty sure it is as he goes to protest to write about them and sometimes takes pic.

That is part of the Kaiser Hospital complex on Sunset...and they would not like a banner hanging from them...I can pretty much guarantee it.

Kaiser owns most of the large buildings near Pac Base. Remember, Pac base used to be a hospital as well.

Here's the thing...they would have to do it from across sunset blvd...they would not be allowed by police to up near the tarped area. Large poles are not allowed on signs (in case they could be weapons) and wind makes things supported by ballons a bit problematic in urban areas with buildings and poles and powerlines nearby.

Anons stood their ground when LAPD-for-hire security said they had to lower the sign. On-duty LAPD were finally called and they let the anons continue.

Poles would not be allowed and balloons would have been out of the question. It would be nice to do, and knowing for sure ahead of time when slappy will appear would sure help us out to plan.

I like the telescoping pole concept...but to be tall enough to be seen over the tarps from across the street (Sunset is a wide street) the pole would be impossible to keep steady. Idea would work great for Celebrity Centre and PacBase when the tarps are not up and the sidewalk by the cult is available.
