Wish I could join you IRL, such is my outrage @Baca supporting the CULT. However, I was able to do the next best thing for me-call the LASD office. Got transferred around a bit, as expected, but finally was able to talk to an individual who had some interesting things to say:

1. They have received a lot of complaint calls on the matter.

2. He said that he agreed, personally, but was not in a position to affect policy.

3. Claims that Baca is only doing it as an elected official, complies with many such requests with other constituents and does not personally support cos. On this note, I offered some background on the CULT, and, to my surprise, he replied "I know". His personal beef=the use of the cross, but he also noted that many ex celebrities were speaking out now, and that was a good thing.

At this point in the conversation, I figured the best thing to do was to suggest that Mr Baca do some meaningful research and maybe he wouldn't be so anxious to further align himself with this dangerous group. After all, no one can argue that their duties to constituents would include racist, extremist or abusive organizations. That's where I left it, and he agreed to pass on my concerns to the Sheriff.

I feel better now, fwiw.

I once saw 5'4" quoted, and I seem to remember that being an "official" statistic of some sort, like in a news article or on one of the scifag sites. But there's no way he's that much taller than me. Judging by photos, I think we're about the same height, and I'm 5'1".

Several days ago, checked Spike's FB, and friends. One in particular, of
Ardyth Kromschroder, had a friend listed that looked a bit like the perpetrator, especially the wide shoulder build and the very wide chin and jaw.
Name is Phil Pearson, and on His FB page listed "services" of law firm of Timothy Bowles. (sci)
Today, when I checked Ardyth's FB page, Phil Pearson was no longer listed!
Phil Pearson also has friend, John D Futris, also listing Bowles law firm, Another friend of Phil's is Ray Cassano.

Several sources out him at 5'7". If you look at his photos over the last several years that shows his legs, you'll notice that his shoes have been tailored to give him more height.

Here's how we find out, once and for all, a fairly accurate measurement of Miscaviges height (or rather, lack of).

Simply ask Larry Anderson to measure from the floor to the top his shoulders, where they meet his neck, and that will be the height of DM (in shoes). Why? Well, look at this photo.....
