It was played a lot, yes. And yes, the mindset was this would help somehow. But that was the attitude towards anything management did. Enforced reality. 'This will rocket our stats and scientology will win the day.' Never worked, but hope springs eternal in the human breast. Especially if you are bombarded with propaganda, like this song, and never ever given time to think things through. Just more magical thinking.
