proxy info for Iranians reposted from FB

Discussion in 'Keeping Your Anonymity In Iran' started by scaryanonymous, Jun 16, 2009.

  1. I have two piece of news to announce that I'd like to relay to those in Iran:

    1. We have a proxy running for you at port 2100. This is locked down to Iranian IP addresses only. It won't work if you are not INSIDE Iran.

    2. We have an anonymous Twitter poster that will post by proxy to Twitter for you. Find it at This site is NOT currently blocked in Iran and will post your message into the #iranelection stream under the AnonymousInIran Twitter account. It is safe.

We're also trying to get more people around the world to run the Twitter script because, eventually, we will be blocked by the government. This way, we can simply redirect the link to point to another place. Email me at if you're interested.

The world is behind you, Iran. Now is your moment!
  2. recent tweets:

Gmail and yahoo instant messenger are blocked by government. people may use

RT: Iranian Source: Mohammad Asgari official within Interior Ministry who leaked real vote count has been killed #iranelection
  3. Hope someone mirrored the above link it has already been disabled.
  4. fgdorais: RT: @austinheap: We can now provide free multi-gigabit VPNs to #Iran! E-mail for access PLS RT #iranelection #GR88

kfish26: Cyber guide reposted to circumvent original blocking of site: (expand) You can support Iran from anywhere! #iranelection

When you provide the link for new proxy, I recommend using a bunch of dyndns type hosts, in case they are filtering by dns.

A bazillion more here in picture form:

Also, the only thing really foolproof is IP addresses, which they would have to block whole swaths if there are enough proxies.
