QR Barcodes

    Today I spent some time researching QR Bar codes, and it occurred to me that these could be useful to anonymous.They're subtle and would catch human curiosity. I'm sure there are a lot of ways they could be used but in the sense of "you've found the card" type situation they could be very useful. If some one browsing a library or bookstore found a bookmark that said you found the card and then just had a bar code on it, it would catch my curiosity at least. Then have the bar code linked to either a informational page on the cult or faq regarding the foi efforts. It would also mask the purpose for the people leaving them. With an added bonus of appealing most to people who are a bit more tech savvy. Just a thought at least.

    Many years ago the typical size of a computer virus was about 2048 bytes.

    A QR code holds 2,953 bytes.

    I certainly wouldn't scan one.

    if i scan the barcode, can i get a discount on chocolate candies and ice cream at the grocery store?
