Oh, no you don't. You are not getting out of responsibility for the bitch and moan thread that easily.

EEEK, I have enough responsibilities IRL, I refuse to be accountable for my stupid comments on WWP.

I know. It really sucks how you have to use your real name and can't post as a guest.

sue, admit it, Reply Anonymously button is limited to people who donate to WWP development/bills, isn't it?

Or, WWP is OSA and soon we'll have to reveal our ID document scans on our profiles to post at all.

  24. I wonder how many people this has lost? This lack of 'anonymity'.

I for one, will make one final post after this and it will be my last.

There's obviously an agenda here that hasn't been released, for a movement that grew both from anonymity and computer expertise the whole 'Sue doesn't understand wtf is going on', is either bullshit or highly troubling.

Sure, there will be people who'll post no matter what but the core franchise has been alienated. Resources, time and effort cast aside, never to be reclaimed. People are fickle in nature and the new nature of this place has certainly alienated many.

Whilst we'll never cast aside our convictions concerning Scientology, it is a true shame that WWP has taken this path. I do not believe the lack of this button we all seek has been lost through an act of accidence.

You may wonder, who am I, to point the finger and ponder so, I am but one among many, an individual who values privacy above all else. However, with the lack of 'privacy' within a buttons reach, I see little reason to log in, an action that might seem insignificant, but ultimately can draw people back into this movement, which is certainly something it requires now more than ever.

So to this I cry, to you Sue and other mods, you have lost your way, agendas have clouded your thoughts. Ideas of openness are gone and so, are some of your members.

Do not get me wrong, the effort you've applied shall never be forgotten, but the actions of now have been counter intuitive. Despite this though, I wish you all the best.

    I am Anonymous,
    I am Legion,
    I do not forgive,
    I do not forget,
    Goodbye forever.

I'm also drunk but feel fairly confident what I've typed is just.

When Enturbulation.org and subsequently WhyWeProtest.net first started out (and were at their height) there was no Anonymous posting option. People still leaked information under sock accounts, protests were still organised and Chanology kept its momentum going. In the grand scheme of events since 2008, Anonymous posting remains a concept that was applied more heavily in the past few years.

That is not to say the add-on was not of great use and personally, I would love to see its timely return, however I think the constant pressures being placed on Sue (When his health is poor, he is busy with a new job, he already pays for the majority of WWP hosting out of his own pocket and runs the site as a hobby) is somewhat unfair. The bitterness held between various groups doesn't help much either, when you consider we are all supposed to be working towards common/similar goals. It's quite childish really on everyone's part.

WWP will continue to remain primarily focused on Anonymity and raising awareness in regards to Scientology. If anyone has experience working with Xenforo plugins and has an adept understanding of PHP, then I'm sure Sue would gladly accept your help.

Call me a WWP/Sue apologist if you will, but If we want to see change, the 'Sue will do it' attitude needs to be scrapped and more people will need to come to the fore to take the initiative. We have a good community here and one of the most active in regards to Anti-Scientology protest coordination both online and IRL. I'm sure we can all put our heads together and think of ways to help out. :)

Well said. I'm glad Sue still runs the site for us here. It shows that he does care for the community when he is paying for a private server to help protect our anonymity. Not many other sites with similar goals can say that. :D

If that is what you think, then you should avoid sharing personal info with mods.

  34. Wow, brilliant idea. Because, you know, it's really fun and lulzy when you need to as act as afraid of personal info with WWP mods as with OSA.

What the fuck is this place turning into.

  35. And hey, WTF is up with the two locked down Flag Down threads? It says you can only post there if you're logged in.

So first you take away the Reply Anonymous button. Then you force posters to log in order to post??

Reality Check: This is Why We Protest. We are ANONYMOUS.

Whose bullshit idea is this anyway and which idiot mod or mods is/are implementing it?

HOC said before it was "trashed in a hidden forum":

The merit of one's posts, are subject to the approval of the community, yet even if they are disliked, they are still viewable and are neither deleted nor trashed in a hidden forum. :)

Anybody can view threads in the dome. Just register and set your user preferences.

Could you please add more lulz to your next troll post, guy who obviously understands how to view dome threads but acts like he doesn’t?

I didn't act like I don't understand how to view the dome. I learned how to view it several years ago. I consider the dome "hidden" because only registered users who know how can read it, unlike the rest of the forum which can be read by everybody. The dome is also hidden from search engines.

What kind of "hidden forum" was HOC referring to and why did his post get moved to the dome?
