There is no reason to NOT also fax or scan&email petition sheets in.

At the very least this allows the Senator to describe the GLOBAL nature of it with authority.

The advice given to Nex and given to Carmen is still contradictory.

Send them electronically ANYWAY, and regard this new info as being a big red boot up your arse to get the originals in the mail ON MONDAY!

Good news...the Senate vote will now be taken on Tuesday, so plenty more time for more sigs.

There's been a lot of confusion about what to do with the petitions.

This is a FINAL, DEFINITIVE answer (from Carmel, and Sen. Xenophon's office):

Please fax or email the petitions to Senator Xenophon's office today AND send the originals by post.

Please clearly state "Scientology petition" in the subject line of your email.

If you've already sent yours by conventional mail, please could you post the "number of people who signed, city, country" in this thread.
