ROOTS BLOODY ROOTS! I think its time. A time to return to monthly synchronized raids. Now I know there will be naysayers out there, but hear me out. Flash raids are fun and all. They extract lulz. They keep the scifags off kilter. This is good. However, by allowing our full force to become a ragtag bunch of freedom fighters, we're losing a huge sense of brotherhood. And I think that was what gives and will continue to give us strength. Never rule flash raids out. Regional raids (do we still call them raids?) are also great. They help build a stronger sense of community. I'm not asking you all to be friends. I'm saying on a planned date, larger masses should populate a nearby area and STAY ON TARGET. Never rule out regional raids, especially those places the scifags are trying to create "Ideal Orgs." Monthly worldwide raids. Shit, I remember when these were awesome. I remember nights drinking and staying awake for the first reports at least 12 hours before I could go fight. And somewhere, we lost that. Now its just whenever it happens that month. As I said, flash raids are cool, but it distills Chanology. And I'm asking for another worldwide date. The two year mark is soon approaching. That may be a good day, right? We must show solidarity. January 30, 2010 ( or 23 close enough to be the 21/28). I say we go out there and fight together once more, /b/rothers. ARE YOU WITH ME? P.S. I'm pushing this hard on the video fags. I did always enjoy coming home from global's to camp out in the usual places listening to all the reports coming in from around the world, and giving our own to inspire the rest of the legion for the day ahead. (Sydney... we led the way) A steady stream of raid reports coming in throughout the month is good, but its just not the same as that one big weekend each month... If we can somehow miraculously all manage to agree on a good date for January then I will do what I can to push it locally.

Re: ROOTS BLOODY ROOTS! For morale purposes, it would be a good idea. I know the wind has been taken out of SoCal's sails for awhile. I'm sure thats a reflection as a whole on Chanology as well. At the same time though, I think some people, especially those of us who have been here from the beginning, are feeling uninspired these days to go IRL. Making a fun event out of a raid is always a plus. Monthly themes were fun to be a part of.
Re: ROOTS BLOODY ROOTS! I always looked forward to those Aussie Anon reports coming in first. We did do the saturday of the second full week of the month for a long time. that was the "tradition" i believe. OP, keep preaching fundamentals; thats what got us here, thats what will win it for us.

I only picked the January dates because that's closest to the two year mark. Its not like we don't have time to plan. I don't give a fuck what date it is. For all I care, we can go back to the second Saturday of the month for as long as it takes to win this war.

I'm trying to imagine what my reaction would be if hypothetically someone ragequit a local cell, hadn't contributed to any irl raid in over a year (flash, global, monthly or otherwise), then posted a thread about how everyone should get together and raid with him. I think would wonder if the suggestion was one big troll. What would you guys think if that hypothetical situation happened?
Re: ROOTS BLOODY ROOTS! Roots?? I had bloody tree roots grow into the sewer pipe under my house and they blocked up the plumbing. Finally bollixed up last week and started to flood the basement. Had to snake it out, what a fucking mess. Planned monthly raids is what I used to deal with and since they stopped I haven't been out. If they resumed we might get better turnouts. With flash raids there is always some faggot(s) who can't turn up or one reason or another (mostly lame ones) and that gets frustrating real quick. This^^^^
