Did you not spot the pluralisation Anne? There is a massive difference between leaders and THE leader. Just as there are many different Anonymous's.

Sabu obviously was a leader for SOME Anons.
He led them right up shit creek to the party van.

Why the need to state obvious things when somebody says that somebody else said something wrong ?

Why the need to make false, useless and unfunny remarks ?
  5. Andy Downs Member

Natural law and Civil Law are two different things.
Civil Law says the FBI has no shareholders, but Natural Law clarifies what is obvious to the world, that they do
    i.e. Strafor/HBGary et al

Ann, Ann, Ann. Learn to read. (Perhaps you need glasses.)

I did not say "Sabu was *the* leader of anonymous."

Sabu, however, was *a* leader within anonymous to whom numerous anons, kiddies, and hackers looked to for guidance, inspiration and positive reinforcement (strokes).

    Want to debate that?

It is a fiction that Anonymous has no leaders. In fact, the strength of Anonymous is that we can all be leaders. Anonymous has no predetermined hierarchy, and we can rotate leaders at will. One drops away, another takes their place. Someone with skill in one area emerges as a leader when that skill is needed, then passes on to another leader. We are ALL leaders, if we want. It's just that we follow or lead based on ideas and skills. The strength is the collective's fluidity and ability to vet ideas, and respond quickly.

And when we are bored, we chew our own tail off.

Leaderfagging is a monstrous issue -- for individuals and groups.

You know there's a leaderfag around when you feel that little flutter of excitement because *he* or *she* is online or on your thread! *He* or *she* noticed you. *He* or *she* praised you, virtually fapped you off.

Leaderfags are skilled social engineers / conmen(women).

Quinn Norton tweeted recently that she never felt comfortable with Sabu, that he always tried to get sexual with her online. Ick.

    Sabu is still a cunt
    And more deliciously
A cunt that KNOWS what Anon is capable of
A cunt that KNOWS that (outside the courts and govt) the FBI ain't invincible.
And has proved he is scared of hearing BOO
    He isn't living scot free

Help the Ochoa Family to reunite

On March 21st, 2012 Higinio Ochoa III aka w0rmer, was arrested and charged with hacking law enforcement agency websites and posting the personal information of police officers online, as well as being accused of defacing a government website in Alabama. On June 25, 2012, Hig was forced to accept a plea agreement of 27 months in federal prison, seeing it as in the best interest of his family. Currently housed at Federal Satellite Low Elkton in Lisbon, Ohio, he is scheduled for release in August of 2014.

After paying one's debt to society, under the terms of the plea agreement offered to him, one would assume that a person would be allowed to move on with their life with their family. In this instance this does not appear to be the case. The federal Department of Probation has refused to allow Hig to return home to his family near Houston, Texas, where he was living prior to his arrest. Because of this refusal his only option then is a halfway house in Austin, Texas where his computer activities can be properly monitored by authorities. Authorities have also warned that if he does not have a permanent residence in Austin prior to his release, he could be denied release to a halfway house and be forced to remain in prison, to serve the remainder of his sentence.

Since Higinio's incarceration his wife Kylie has been living with his family, he has missed the birth of his son Brody, and his wife has patiently raised their son alone, while waiting for her husbands release. W0rmer has been a strong supporter and outspoken proponent of prison reform and has accepted his punishment gracefully and with dignity. Now he is simply anxious to get home and be with his wife and new baby, who he has seen only twice since being incarcerated nearly two years ago.

Kylie, who is from Australia, has been working as much as she can while trying to raise their young son without the love and assistance of his father, but has not been able to earn enough money to move Brody and herself to Austin.

We have an immediate need for financial assistance to relocate Kylie and Brody to Austin, ahead of Hig's release. Every dollar brings us closer to our goal of reuniting w0rmer with his family, and getting them back on their feet and moving forward with their lives.

Extreme security incompetence lead to #Stratfor hack -- leaked Verizon analysis report

Massive security flaws allowed for Stratfor hack, leaked report reveals

The intelligence firm at the center of a notorious cybersecurity breach that affected top government officials failed to institute standard security measures prior to the attack, according to a newly leaked report.

In December 2011, a group of skilled hackers broke into the network of Strategic Forecasting, Inc. (Stratfor), compromising the personal data of some 860,000 customers, including a former U.S. vice president, CIA director, and secretary of state, among others.

The hackers, known collectively as AntiSec, exfiltrated approximately 60,000 credit card numbers and associated data, resulting in a reported $700,000 in fraudulent charges. Roughly 5 million internal emails were obtained by the hackers and later released by the whistleblower organization WikiLeaks as the "Global Intelligence Files."

For Stratfor, a Texas-based geopolitical intelligence and consulting firm, the incident was an international embarrassment that caused roughly $3.78 million in total damages — and all of it could’ve been avoided by meeting common fraud prevention requirements.

Based on confidential internal documents obtained by the Daily Dot and Motherboard, Stratfor employed substandard cybersecurity prior to the infiltration that left thousands of customers vulnerable to potential identity theft. The documents also lend credibility to statements made by Hyrriiya, a relatively unknown hacker who claimed responsibility for the breach.

The Daily Dot–Motherboard investigation is based on a cache of sealed court documents—roughly 3 gigabytes of previously unseen chat logs, warrants, and various government reports — some of which was collected by Hector “Sabu” Monsegur, a hacker-turned-informant. Evidence provided by Monsegur was used to convict eight members of Anonymous, including Jeremy Hammond, who is currently serving the remainder of a 10-year sentence for his role in the attack.

The main question remains the same: Why did FBI let it happen ?

I can see the good side of gathering information useful for the prosecution, but why on this target ?

Were Strafor's people getting on some FBI agents' nerves with their arrogance ?

I thought I read somewhere that prior to the hack, the FBI put the Stratfor files on a server under their control. Therefore I am confused about the “poor security” analysis of Stratfor. No doubt they had security holes like every big company. But perfect security would not have changed the course of events, due to sting operation.

The answers to these questions are amusing, if nothing else, but I will leave room for "outrage."

The front end of the Podcast from Benjamin Walker's * "Theory Of Everything" explains why the FBI supervised and supported the raid on Stratfor, allegedly from an 'intelligence' insider.

The report answers all of your questions.

The explanation for the FBI supervised "hack" starts at 5:50.

The podcast continues and has brief interviews with Weev, 'Biella Coleman, Barrett Brown and an interesting person explaining how the MSM deals with the "hacker" thing but the overall subject is "lulz."

There MAY be another factor involved. Would take some research to find out the answer.

Was Strafor up for any new contracts or renewals? If so making them look bad might be a way to drive down prices

This is the main problem about all of this, and the Snowden docs proved this, it is about money more than anything else.

The missing man on this is the person on the IRC chats that is feeding the info, Sabu is is taking it to the rest of Lulzsec and the FBI goes "My what a good boy am I"

This is ALL create a crime to make arrests and then yell
