    Re: Salt Lake City

I think we should sing Scilon-themed Christmas carols

    Hark the body-thetans sing
    Glory to the Xenu king!

    or

    Scilon night
    Engram night
    All is Clear
    all is trite

    Re: Salt Lake City

    BRILLIANT.

Also, we can hand out Christmas cards! "The Gift of Knowledge. From: Anonymous. To: You"

So I took the week off of work and i spent the day reading about scientology from both sides and finally from the guy in the middle i call wiki scary stuff that goes on with the legal standings as a church but that's a different thread topic so my question is how can i get involved in raising awareness in utah??

    Re: Salt Lake City

Welcome! There's lot's of different things you can do to help: you can put up flyers with snippets of info for the general public, send letters to politicians, or even join us at the real world protest :) It all depends on what your skills are, how much time you'd be willing to spend, what you're comfortable doing, etc. Every little bit helps!

[By the way, it's recommended that you don't let out personal information with these efforts (I'm sure you've heard about Fair Game at this point) We haven't had any problems with harassment or threats here yet, but other cities have, and it's better safe than sorry!]

    Re: Salt Lake City

thanks for the welcome here's a question i'm not from this state i've lived here for 2 and 1/2 years has the lds church tried to shut down the church of scientology here in utah? if not they would be the perfect org to get involved of making them feel unwelcome in this state

    Re: Salt Lake City

Anon don't need no cult to see off another cult. In any case I don't think the LDS would see Co$ as a threat.
  9. Re: Salt Lake City

Morons...oops Mormons are just as much of a cult as Scifags. They even defend eachother. Check out the Mormon Glenn Beck as an example:

sounds like a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend...

how involved are you guy at the slc branch? I'm interested in going to a raid i have a nixon mask i've been dying to wear
  11. Wenckebach Member

    Re: Salt Lake City

Supposedly we'll have a raid this saturday. We have a bad habit of spontaneously imploding though :D I should have a luverly set of christmas carols for us to sing to the scilons

While many ppl believe the lds church is a cult, at least they don't kill ppl (not nowadays anyways, heeheehee) and the Co$ is the cult we are focused on nao plz. Remember to take ur adderall and stay on task kiddlets ;P

    (and, while the mormons may occasionally defend the scilons, it's because many are raised to have an over-developed sense of persecution, and knee-jerk reactions are the norm here. We're used to it Mr Houston :D "Joseph Smith was a convicted con man" "OMG YOU RELIGIOUS BIGOT, STOP ATTACKING THE LDS CHURCH" ).....{DAMMIT FORGOT MY CONCERTA}

    Re: Salt Lake City

so guys, raid tomorrow or next week?
  13. Wenckebach Member

    Re: Salt Lake City

mkay, due to lack of response I'm assuming either cancelled or moved to next week. I ain't makin' that drive unless there be ppl :p

    (come on, it's an HOUR)

just for shits and giggles, i give you Joy to Teegeeack (revised)

Joy to the world, Lord Xenu comes
    Let Teegeeack receive her King
Let every body thetan prepare him room
    and Coltice and Espinol sing
    and Coltice and Espinol sing
And Coltice and Coltice and Espinol sing.

Joy to Teegeeack, Lord Xenu reigns
    Let meat bodies agree
It's every thetan's right to seek out OTIII
If they can pay the fee
If they can pay the fee
If they pay and pay and pay the fees

    Re: Salt Lake City

    c-c-c-combo!

We can still go caroling the day b4 christmas or whatever. It doesn't have to be a full protest, just show up and sing a few songs for them :D

    Re: Salt Lake City

    C-c-c-combo breaker!

Caroling either Tuesday or Wednesday works for me. Sorry I haven't been on lately, finals and work have been combining to kick my friggin' ass.

    Re: Salt Lake City

I'm glad to see things in SLC are still rolling. I've been wrapped up in a bunch of personal stuff lately, so I haven't been able to make the trek and contribute, but I wish you guys the best of luck!

    Re: Salt Lake City

c'mon ducky! Come and sing with us for an hour!

    Re: Salt Lake City

Merry Christmas homies! We were a little short of win this month (mostly my fault, as Wenckebach wrote bitchin' carols and I failed at planning), but we can get it on next month yes?

    Re: Salt Lake City

Wenckebach came to the realization that working friday night AND saturday night on rAIDs week is not happy tiems, and didn't push for it as much as she could have :D

Also, I got "car cannot physically make it down the driveway" snowed in.

    Re: Salt Lake City

Hooray for snow! It's only December and I'm about damned done with winter. Oh well. What's January look like for everyone? A good weekend would be?

    Still Alive - Marcab

If folks would be so kind as to throw together some quick, one paragraph summaries of what's been going on in their local cells here, the hope is to get a nice website up compiling everything (kinda like Anonymous Resources, only with some more information about the groups). We could even *gasp* KEEP IT UP TO DATE!

    Done.

    Re: Salt Lake City

I would love to get involved in the protests here in Salt Lake City. I'm pretty busy throughout the week with work and school, but I will always have weekends available.

About how many people generally show up? I've never involved myself in anything like this.
  25. xenuslc Member

    Re: Salt Lake City

Well, lately our protests have been about 3-5 people. We had a strong showing for the first couple months last year but dwindling since then. We're still committed though.

    Re: Salt Lake City

I'm interested in coming to the next protest, I'd just like to get a time if possible.

    Thx.

    Re: Salt Lake City

I'm voting for the 24th, same time as usual (11ish) :)
  28. xenuslc Member

    Re: Salt Lake City

24th works for me, sorta. I'll have to leave about 1 for work, but I can most certainly be there for the beginning.

    Re: Salt Lake City

Awesome. Well then, this Saturday, 11 AM at the library? Should be a good time.
  32. snakeyes Member

    Re: Salt Lake City

Why do you guys protest at the library?
  33. xenuslc Member

    Re: Salt Lake City

We just meet at the library, cause it's next to TRAX and easy to find. The actual protest is at the Dianetics Center on 400 S 353 E.

    Re: Salt Lake City

I'm sorry I was unable to come today. Something came up. I hope to be at the next one however, no matter what!
  39. pastachef Member

Greetings comrades, its been a while since i was active in the anon community. i have around 5 people that are wanting to participate in the next protest. do we have a rough plan when the next picket is?
how many did you have at the last one?

    BTW, any atheists here?

    Re: Salt Lake City

    Hehehe, welcome nubs!

Anyhoo, it would be hilarious to do some sort of valentine's themed protest on the 14th (I can see the signs now! "Xenu is my Valentine"), but I don't think many ppl would show..... so perhaps the 21st then?

    I will bring caek.
