martyisasquirrel is very likely a scilon site.
scribd.com is not a scilon site - its a public dumpsite for scanned dox.

the email sent may have been faked.
The dox on scribd may be a fake.

But without confirmation or denial from BFG / BVS its hard to tell.

Interesting, doc looks genuine. Not saying that it is at this stage.

That I'm a tired idiot and double posted it. Really an idiot. Sorry about that.

That is just what the cult submitted to the court for the judge to consider and then sign if he agrees.

That is what lawyers do. They submit their motion and proposed decisions and the judge decides by signing otr not, or editing it, and then signing it or not. That was not signed. This posting of it is a cult tactic to confuse the readers and force their intentions onto the critics. FAIL

Yeah. That bought them a whole 49 minutes of nothing.

I was wondering how agreements signed at the age of 16 would be valid in a situation like this.

i guess i'll wait for BFG to post on here.

They could be rattling around for inside information or approach on the case.

That or trying to dispel some of the negative PR from the Anderson Cooper 360 series to their own cult followers.

    Thanks.
I think many of us had the misapprehension that this was a document issued by the court.

now I can hit the hay, and not have to stay up worrying about Scientolulzy

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

I heard a rumor there was a total lock down in the Headley camp on postings, media etc. So, do not expect to hear from them on the boards.

Next week will be win though - just wait and see.
  24. AnonyMary Member

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

How did you hear that if such a lock down is in place?

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

A rumor like that would come about if they aren't talking. Which I think is an extremely smart thing to do. Finding out your opponents tactics is a great way to get a jump start on your defense.

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

Hey assholes, before anyone runs around calling this fake, can we at least wait for someone to look it up on Pacer or get a confirmation from Headleys.

    2:09-cv-03987

Are you at a University right now? Then you probably have online access to Pacer and Lexis-Nexis you retards.

I do wonder how they got from document #60 to #100 that quickly.

There are some hilarious documents uploaded there, like Van Sickle divorce and freezoner guy getting sued.

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

If that summary judgement is genuine then it is fucking disappointing. My understanding of Headley’s argument was that his activities were subject to minimum wage laws due to ‘economic reality’. In other words, because Headley was making goods and providing services that were comparable to goods and services in commercial businesses, then minimum wage laws apply as per the Alamo case. This decision doesn’t reference or refute the reasoning that Alamo applies so I am utterly confused.

Any e-lawyers able to explain this one to me?

I tried about two dozen different searches on LexisNexis Academic and I can't find anything on either Headley case at all, let alone this particular document. Maybe another anon will have better luck.

this was just posted by some scilon on the religiousfreedomwatch site

    By New Yorker:
You guys are not going to believe this. A certain group of people are discussing on their message board that the Headley ruling might be fake.

I have access to an online court database and here are some screen shots:

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

If that docket screenshot is correct, it was a partial summer judgement. Whicjh means that the second link you provided, without a signature and without the particular part that was granted, is probably a fake.

So, bigshot, provide the complete signed doc or STFU
  32. Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

I have to go into work tomorrow, I'll check the case status and give you guys the procedural stance and my eval.

Why yes, I am a lawyer.

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

You know what is sad.. I trust the idiots at RFW a lot moar for providing dox.

You idiots just love to fap and like 100 comments in and you still haven't looked it up on PACER. I believe it probably is a real document. The question is if there is any way to appeal a partial summary judgment, and if there is any actions still active in the case.

Kind of disappointing the OG go into clam up mode instead of sharing information.
  35. Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

It could very well be a real document, but I'd like to see it with a signature on it before I'm 100% trusting.

And I'd like to see something from Headley either way.

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

This goes double when you recognise that the whole religious worker angle was always going to be part of the defence.

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

It's not disappointing. It's expected. Teasers that BIG shit's going to happen and the majority of the time it's, "Son, I am disappoint." Or they can't tell us anything because it's going to be in their book and it will be available sometime within the next 6-8 months and available for $29.95 on amazon.com. Or just...NOTHING.

    It's just expected and frustrating.

Re: Scientologists request dismissal in Headley case

I would rather the OG concentrate on getting the job done right & not exposing their tactics than for me to sit around and gobble up gossip on what's going on.

All the details will come out eventually. But there is nothing we can do to help in this scenario.
