Scientology will fail in Pakistan, a religiously intolerant society.

I think a good way to approach this would be to start with Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes and work back to the meat of the issue. Why did Katie not want her child raised in Scientology?

There are many, many reasons why. And it's stupid to start this way, but everyone in the world (except me) seems really interested in the pink plastic Hollywood life, so it'd be a good place to begin.

Approaching a country like Pakistan might be a hard nut to crack, so easing into the issue of Scientology might be a good use of pop culture.

Have you been there and do you know how balkanised Pakistan is or are you pulling random sentences out of your asshole? Scientology flourishes wherever poorly informed people with mental problems and enough money exist to make the enterprise's investment worthwhile.

  8. Pakistani here.

This comes as shocking to say the least! Dr. Moiz Hussain is a scientologist and they have started their programmes on our very soil. As if we didn't have problems enough.

Couple of facts here about Pakistan that the media won't tell you. We the aren't religious extremists, we are the ones fighting against them. When it comes to conspiracy theories a lot of my countrymen tend to wrap up zionists, masons, illuminati and scientologists in the same circle.

Please keep me informed if you get wind of any new of their activities in Pakistan. I will try and expose Dr. Moiz Hussain on social media.

Dunno about scientologist but Dr. Moiz Hussain comes up readily as a moonbat:

  11. This is majorly alarming. Apparently, they are stepping out of the shadows, now:

Also, the flag on "On the way to Happiness, Planetary Calm" isn't Pakistan's. It's most likely Saudi Arabia's. Pakistan's should have had a white strip on the side.

Also, "Dianetics" translated and being promoted as far back as 2009! http://www.itdunya.com/t143457/

Are you referring to published propaganda/literature or are you referring to a building with a Flag on it?

Regarding the translation, it is very important to Scientology to be able to say that Hubbard's work holds a record for most translations to other languages. So perhaps it will ease your mind to know that this book has been translated into things like Urdu, just to help set a record. They aren't targeting you in particular.

While Scientology might intrude a wee bit on Pakistani culture, I don't think it will make too many waves. Some people in that country would react to getting screwed by the cult in ways that Scientologists would not enjoy. They tread softly in Israel as well; they don't present themselves as a religion in that country. More of a "self help" thing.

    Israel Goes Independent

The most productive and influential Scientology organization in Israel has declared independence from the Miscavige tyranny. The Village Voice broke the story early this morning, Israel Awakens by Tony Ortega.
The Dror (Hebrew for Freedom!) Center of Haifa is operated by the dynamic duo Dani and Tami Lemberger. You may remember Tami as the international field auditor of the year for the years 2000 and 2002. Dani is just as legendary in his own right as an administrator. Dani managed to keep Haifa out from under Miscavige’s boot sufficiently enouch to continue high levels of Scientology delivery during the past decade when Miscavige has managed to destroy almost every other Scientology organization affiliated with Scientology Inc.
The Scientologists of Israel do not look to the glitzy, empty Tel Aviv Idle Morgue for direction. They look to the Lemberger’s and the Dror Center, where Scientology continues to be delivered in abundance – despite management’s best efforts to choke it to death. Dani and Tami have pried Scientology Inc leader David Miscavige’s fingers off their necks so that they can now really get the show on the road.

I hate to be the guy who says this, but why not notify homeland security, or the Pakistani equivalent? The scilons already meet most of the legal criteria to be a terror organization, so their expansion into Pakistan would set off further red flags. they are an evil cult that has been connected with suspicious deaths all thru out the past, and despite all their connections, i do not believe that they can survive a terror investigation.

I view CO$ as more dangerous then al queda. At least the public knows most of al quedas past, their stances, and how they operate. The public is dangerously unaware of Co$, and many innocent people have had their lives ruined or even died as a result
  16. I was referring to cover of the book, previously shared.
  17. True that. I am trying to get this message to the Intelligence Bureau here, but it's important that I convey the severity of the matter. Any information on their MO would be greatly appreciated. Most of the terms being used CO$ or scilons, I understand that they are operatives/agents, but I am totally clueless about their roles or MO.

Although, Pakistan maybe initially a harder market to penetrate. The promises of scientology won't undo generations of religious following, but it doesn't have to. The problem is that the real wealth and the power lies in the hands of only a few, and they are all they need to bankroll for significant domination in the region.
  18. Perks of developing countries. :)

I don't see them making waves here either, but they can gain quite a bit of hold by a little bankrolling. Still a poor choice of venue, I'd say. Coz, if the blasphemy thing is broadcasted here, the fanatics might actually solve the scientology problem world over!

One of the important MOs is to lead unsuspecting people into believing that L. Ron Hubbard was a great humanitarian (and scientist). This is done with numerous lies and other extremely manipulative practices.

This false and pernicious pitch is extremely dangerous around the most vulnerable people; children and anyone looking for help with any of life's problems.

The front groups of Scientology - Narconon, CCHR and Applied scholastics - are all used to promote L. Ron Hubbard and his life work - Scientology.

If i understand it correctly, Islam his a high regard for Jesus Christ. What would the reaction be if people found out that a cult that claimed he was a pedophile had moved into town?

Assalamu Alaykum. As I understand it, Jesus will come back to assist the Madhi before Judgment Day. He will appear in Damascus in a yellow robe and will kill the Antichrist, or Masih ad-Dajjal. This is in the Sunnah, which is second to the Quran in terms of authority, but mostly for Sunni Muslims. Shiites don't rely on the Sunnah as much. I am not a muslim, and I apologize in advance for any errors in theology.

This report has no mention of scientology anywhere:

Serving a sentence: Helping Karachi’s prisoners, the Criminon way

    By Rabia Ali

    Published: April 6, 2015

KARACHI: While serving a term in prison, inmates tend to suffer from bouts of depression and loneliness.

This can get troublesome for a prison like the Karachi Central Jail, which houses more prisoners than it was built for. The prisoners primarily look after themselves and have to participate in daily chores such as laundry, cooking and serving meals or tailoring.

Some prisoners find it difficult to come to terms with the sentence they are dealt with and this is where Criminon comes in.

Around eight years ago, the Society for Advancement of Health, Education and the Environment (SAHEE) and prison authorities introduced the Criminon programme — a global initiative to help rehabilitate prisoners.

“I used to be angry all the time and bang my head on the wall,” said Jalal, an inmate. “Now, I am in control. I don’t get angry anymore.” Like Jalal, several inmates have benefited from the programme. Many claim that their life has altered quite drastically.

To date, around 1,500 prisoners have successfully completed the programme.

    What is Criminon?

Criminon is a self-study programme based on four steps — communication, learning how to learn, way to happiness and ups and downs in life.

“This programme was introduced for the rehabilitation of prisoners and to restore their self-confidence,” said political activist and an official at the organisation, Azhar Jamil.

SAHEE’S founder, Saleem Aziz Khan, said that he thought of starting this programme when he moved from Islamabad to Karachi in 2007.

While talking to The Express Tribune, he said a friend of his had invited him to a corrections conference. “That was a turning point for me,” he said. “It was then that I decided to do something for the inmates here.”

The programme takes 200 hours to complete and uses the self-study method, where everyone has to fully understand what they are studying. They have to sit for an exam at the end of the programme.

Since the programme is for educated or literate prisoners, the organisation also offers basic literacy classes up to the eighth grade for inmates such as Jalal who have never received formal education.

“I would run away from the classes but my friends made me study,” said Jalal. “Now, I feel blessed. I will take what I have learnt here and start a school in my area.”

For Peer Buksh, the first Criminon graduate at the jail, the communication skills course is what got him interested. “I was so inspired by the course that I completed my Masters here and now I am studying for my LLB exams.”

The programme is offered to prisoners in two wards of the jail. Classes usually start at 9am and go on till 1pm.

‘The course on ups and downs in life makes you realize what you are doing in jail,” said Abdul Latif, who is serving a 50-year sentence for murder. “It somehow leaves you feeling positive.”

The programme comes as a relief to many inmates who had issues communicating as a part of it focuses on the three Cs: confront, control and communicate.

Latif explained that it is really the third step that really changes a person’s mind set.

Criminon is an entirely voluntary programme and every inmate — from petty criminals to murderers — has willingly completed the courses. These days, staff at the Hyderabad prison is being trained so they can start conducting it there.

“Funds to run the programme come from friends, families and supporters of SAHEE,” said Khan. “We do, however, need more funds to expand the project and take it to other jails.”

Ghaffar Alvi, a death row prisoner, completed the programme in 2009. He said that he underwent a massive change personally. “It gave me an aim, a desire to help others,” he said. “I have now become a trainer and help others with the programme.”
