Scientology mocked in popular media

I think that one of the best ways to keep the general public informed that the Scientology corporation, its founder Hubbard, and its current CEO Miscavige, are crazy weird and to be avoided is when Scientology becomes the butt of jokes in popular media.

When the mere mention of scientology brings on associations with crazy alien money-making abusive cult, we have won.

The purpose of this thread is to collect examples of Scientology mentioned in passing as a joke on popular TV shows, movies, magazines, etc.

To kick things off, here is John Oliver on Last Week Tonight comparing FIFA to Scientology

William F. Buckley would have loathed Fox News: Inside the right-wing media’s intellectual downfall

In assessing the state of public debate in the age of Fox News, one can't help but look back to William F. Buckley

Attention to this paragraph (my bolding):

Nowadays, blather rattles the land like thunder. In cabs, diners, and doctors’ waiting rooms, the din of stupid opinion yields only to the grinding of one’s teeth. But for our lightbulbs, we would seem to be entering a dark age. The noise today is relentless, enough to inspire thoughts of taking a drill to one’s eardrums. It is inescapable, this babbling rabble of 24-hour TV. Bill O’Reilly seems to be always on the verge of an aneurysm. Greta Van Susteren, a Scientologist with a questionable grasp of reality, grunts and slurs like a bartender who’s her own best customer. Nested with parrots and mockingbirds, the Capitol Building has become an echo chamber for Fox News. Senator Ted Cruz, a champion Princeton debater and a Harvard doctor of law, now sounds like Sarah Palin with more testosterone.

Cover story in this week's National Enquirer (about Tom Crazy, and that LRH could be the actual father of little Suri) states that L. Ron Hubbard was a "wife-beating schizophrenic."
    Pretty accurate, huh? :)

Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street) is one of my favorite comedians. He often takes swipes at scientology. Also, Travolta and Cruise are two of his favorite targets.

    More Billy Eichner

He asks random people on the street, "Who's weirder: Tom Cruise or John Travolta?"
