Re: SciLeaks I have never been a scientologist and even I know that "Xenu would not be pleased" type quotes are not something a real scientologist would EVER say. In scientology parlance, Xenu is akin to Satan, an "evil overlord." Fake vid is fake.
Re: SciLeaks yeah this seems to be done from the position of xenu = good, which i would rank as an amateur mistake.
Re: SciLeaks Hm. I checked out their other vids and they mention Xenu a lot. Playing devil's advocate for a moment, what if their use of Xenu is a (albeit clumsy) way of showing Anonymous that they're sincere? I mean, we all toss around the 'hail Xenu' and 'Xenu has a posse' stuff around cos it's funny as hell, but the vid maker might be thinking that it's some sort of code word thing for acceptance into the hive mind. Also, there's a name they keep mentioning alongside Miscavige and I can't quite catch it in full - Corbin something? Who is this that they're refering to? Any intel on this person? Is this someone we should find dox on? In short, I r confuzzed and thoughtful.
Re: SciLeaks "Anonymous has been given the power to save us by Xenu himself." Yeah, this is not a real Scientologist. There is absolutely no precedent that I am aware of in any Scientology doctrine or lore, official or freezone, for Xenu giving anything to anyone but himself. This is a fake. The interesting question is why. The two basic theories would have to be "for the CoS" or "against the CoS". If it's for the CoS, it may be trying to set up a disinformation campaign. If it's against the CoS, it's probably just trying to enturbulate the Scilons with "oh gnoes we haev teh leaks let us purge our own ranks looking for the moles". Which is dumb because a) with this amateurish execution no Scilon would believe it and b) if they did believe it it would only jeopardize the real moles we have.
Re: SciLeaks There is a third basic theory. Obvious Troll is Obvious. No matter which one it is, the best option is to ignore it. (if it is fake)
Re: SciLeaks Xenu is the "devil" of Scientology, so they wouldn't be glorifying him, and in any case, he is an alien overlord who is trapped in a prison, not a deity. He doesn't have any powers beyond the power to use nuclear weapons.
Re: SciLeaks I am not going to say that this person IS a current member of the cult however there are a number of people who are OT-VII's and OT-VIII's who know the cult is full of shit but due to being completely engrossed into the cult and being dependent on it for business contacts, friends (good roads/good weather) it's too hard for them to leave (if not impossible).
Re: SciLeaks I didn't watch the video, but you probably mean Helena Kobrin, from the California law firm Moxon and Kobrin, which is one of the major law firms used by the CoS.
Re: SciLeaks Yeah, but that doesn't answer why anyone who actually knew the role of Xenu in Scientology doctrine -- even one who no longer believed in any of it -- would refer to Xenu as if he were a beneficent figure. If someone claimed to be a secret mole who had infiltrated the mysterious sinister cult of Opus Dei roll and referred to "Jesus tempting me into sin" it's a pretty good indicator that the stuff about ever having been in Opus Dei was wholesale bullshit.
