Emergency Medical Hologram: Please state the nature of the medical emergency.
Dr. Beverly Crusher: Twenty Borg are about to break through that door. We need time to get out of here! Create a diversion!
Emergency Medical Hologram: This isn't part of my program! I'm a doctor, not a doorstop.
Dr. Beverly Crusher: Well, do a dance! Tell a story! I don't care! Just give us a few seconds!
[the Borg break in as Crusher and her people escape through an airduct]
Emergency Medical Hologram: Ahem, according to Starfleet medical research... Borg implants can cause severe skin irritations. Perhaps you'd like an analgesic cream?

That's exactly right. They get nothing in exchange for their donations aside from the continued existence of the church. They personally get spiritual satisfaction knowing they helped their church. And that's it. The catholic church does not sell salvation which is their main "product". One can participate fully in the life of the church and receive spiritual counselling services of the clergy, participate in all rituals and sacrements without giving a single dime to the church. One can even rise to the top of the church as a lay person without giving a single dime. Scientology sells its salvation as a product. One cannot participate fully in the activities of the cult of scientology in its stated goal of planetary clearing without spending huge amounts of money or signing draconian contracts to give up your entire waking life to the church in exchange for services.

The only services that I know of that the church charges for is weddings and funerals. But that is for the private services of a minister and the use of the church building as a venue. That's a far cry from selling salvation. Yes the church used to sell "indulgences" but that started and ended with the Pope Leo X. (Widely regarded as the most corrupt Pope in history, and that's saying a lot) The practice was deemed corrupt and will never happen again. It goes on every day in Scientology. Selling salvation is just as corrupt whether you're the Pope or David Miscavige.

    Again, you fail.

Wait, wut? How does that work?

ugh. long story. Better to look it up yourself than to get in to it here. (I'm not being an ass -it's just one of those stories that has a lot to it and would be exhausting to get int atm)

But isn't that what Scientology does?

Great idea. I think all Anons and critics reading this should do the same. Can you imagine all the info packs and flyers coming to Toronto Org at roughly the same time? Thanks for the suggestion ScnTO. One of your better ideas.

Just as predicted. ScnTo avoids responding to actual points but just continues to try and deflect the conversation away from arguments he cannot win. Keep bringing it you puny little man you.

wow. I think you missed the "if" at the beginning. Meaning I proposed a hypothetical. You're an ass if you actually believe that Anonymous as a whole is afraid of anything.

FLUNK. Poor conversational skills. Rather than address my rebuttal of your assertion that the Catholic church parishoners are buying their salvation- you tried another diversion. Reply to the points presented to you.

    Again.

“This individual is lying to you because he is trying to control you - because if they give you enough misinformation they will pull you down the tone scale so that they can control you.” - L. Ron Hubbard

Scientology tries to help people live better and more honest lives, not the opposite.

  16. By the CoS's own admission, Sea Org members make around $50 US / week.

On the other hand, David Miscavige has purchased or had bought for him the following things in recent years:

Acura RL - Int Base $50,000.00
Acura TSX - Int Base $35,000.00
    Mazda Miata $25,000.00
    Range Rover $80,000.00
    Bullet proof GMC Van $150,000.00
Flights for David Miscavige & staff for events only (past ten years ) $20,000,000.00
David Miscavige personal berthing building purchase in Hollywood $4,600,000.00
David Miscavige's office sound systems throughout the world $ 10,000,000.00
Custom hand crafted motorcycle custom made for DM $ 25,000.00
Renovations at Hacienda Gardens for Dave Miscavige berthing $100,000.00
Average cost of suit worn by David Miscavige $5,000.00
BMW M6 bought for him by ASI for birthday $110,000.00
Acura - CW one that sits around most of year $45,000.00

Is this really an appropriate way to spend your money? They don't have tax exempt status in most of Canada (though Narconon does for now) but our US friends could arguably consider it to be their money too.

While money from the Toronto org is supporting Miscavige's pseudo-celebrity lifestyle at the expense of Scientologists and taxpayers, we are right to protest in Toronto.

Does the "stress test" ever return a result which DOES NOT recommend scientology?

Yeah, your cult is winning... like Charlie Sheen.
