If the person has no room for improvement in his life or can't think of anyone he would like to help improve then it will not read on the meter and therefor Scientology will not be recommended.

There is no need...if somebody told you 2+2=4...would you agree or verify his credentials?

    WRONG. http://www.xenu.net/archive/oca/

See the bottom, this has been tried and tested as fact.

They're going to tell you there's something wrong with you no matter what in order to suck money out of you. The same techniques sometimes used by their arch rival "psychiatry".

    Woot! Me loves beer!!
  10. Some of the detail comes from Mark Headley. The $4.6M home is a famous building in LA -- the El Cadiz. Scientology bought the El Cadiz and it is claimed this is for the use of Miscavige when he is in LA. If you have a document citing another purpose for this purchase please provide it. It certainly isn't used for any services.

The bikes and cars come from a few sources and once you know he owns them the prices aren't hard to work out.

And you should leave the cult! Seriously... we don't hate you, no one here does. We want to help you. If you leave, I know myself and others here will be happy to be your support group. Open your eyes and look at what CoS is doing!

I overdrew my bank account by $18 today buying hosting for a project not many people seem to care about lol. No beer for me :( Oh well...

I'm sure SciTroll will LOVE the aforementioned project once it's done. So at least it'll get SOME appreciation :D
  18. i care.... and i lived anywhere near you I'd bring you some beer =[
  19. BrakTalk Member

You are one of the few who care. You, Auntie, n3uromanc3r, cfanon, and nailinpalinnow (sorry if I left anyone out) have been awesome help, and the only reason I keep working on it is because of the support from all of you!

If you go to the Doctor and he helps you and you pay the bill were you helped?...if you take your car to the mechanic and he fixes it and you pay him, did he help you?

If somebody read Dianetics and now has hope for becoming Clear...did giving him hope help them?

Scientology planning is built to make the able more able, leaving the unable strictly alone for the while thus sparing ourselves their troubles until we are big enough to run proper institutions and clinics for them.

Do you know what specious reasoning is? Here, I will give you a CLEAR example (I made a funny!)

"If I pick up a rock and declare positively to everyone aloud: this rock keeps tigers away and since I do not see ANY tigers nearby I conclude it is working".

Do you find the fallacy in this statement yes/no?

Now you are twisting around people's words again. No one said "people shouldn't pay for services", they said "paying for services is not donating", and "religions don't make people pay for salvation". You're putting out all these comments hoping people will forget what the topic of the argument was, trying to turn the tables. This is a psychological mind game, I thought you were opposed to anything related to psychology?
  24. that was me. i suck at life hehe
  25. BrakTalk Member

    Naw :p

Mark Headley doen't look like he's been Fair Gamed but he does look like he had his fair share of hot dogs!...seriously is there any real evidence of misappropriation?

    Melting Witch Pudding Cups

    r41939fp.jpg

    Ingredients

    • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    • 1 teaspoon shortening
    • 8 Bugles® original snacks
    • 1 box (4-serving size) white chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
    • 4 cups cold milk
    • 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate fudge instant pudding and pie filling mix
    • 6 drops green food color
    • 8 creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies or chocolate covered mint patties
    • 8 pretzel sticks
    • 1 tablespoon Fiber One® cereal or chow mein noodles, pieces broken in half
    • 16 gummi worm candies

    Directions

    1. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and shortening on High 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until melted; stir until smooth. To make tops of witch hats, dip snacks, one at a time, into melted coating, letting excess drip off. Place point up on cookie sheet. Let stand until coating is set.
    2. Prepare white chocolate pudding with 2 cups of the milk as directed on box. Prepare chocolate fudge pudding with remaining 2 cups milk as directed on box. Stir green food color into white chocolate pudding until well blended.
    3. For each pudding cup, spoon 2 tablespoons of the green pudding into bottom of 4-ounce clear plastic cup or serving dish; top with 2 tablespoons of the chocolate fudge pudding. Repeat with each flavor to form four layers. With handle of spoon, gently swirl the two top layers. Insert cookie in pudding; top with chocolate-coated Bugle® to resemble witch hat. Insert tip of pretzel stick into pudding with a few pieces of cereal sprinkled at the base to resemble a broom. Insert ends of 2 gummi worm candies into pudding and hang over edge to resemble the witch’s legs.

As Scientologists may come to believe in past lives or "reincarnation", it is very possible that we can recall events of the distant past. A subjective reality.

In the early 1950's a book called "The Search for Bridey Murphy" by Morey Bernstein caused a great stir and great interest in reincarnation. The author used hypnotic regression to regress Virginia Tighe mentally all the way back to the womb, and then before conception. Much to his surprise, the hypnotized subject started describing life as another person -- a woman named Bridey Murphy, who had lived in Ireland in the 1800's.

I would agree, assuming we were talking simple base 10 arithmetic. It's a simple fact which requires no leap of faith. If that same person were to go on to explain that they had written the "operating manual for the human mind", had all of the answers to lifes problems, that the future of the planet rested in their hands, I would indeed want to verify his credentials and upon determing that he had absolutely none to speak of, I would be glad to see that he held at least a basic understanding of simple artithmetic and then move on.
