Oh my,my,my ....... with just a little more digging.........(google is our friend!)


It looks like she worked for this rag (Seattle PI) a couple of years ago when it actually printed newspapers......then it kicked the bucket.So Amy went to work for another paper for 16 months. But now that SeattlePI is back (although only a ghost of itself!) she has gotten her old job back this month.

SeattlePI has apparently transformed itself into just an internet news outlet (can you spell cheap!!!!!)

So this young woman, whose working on her journalism MBA, either got suckered in by the cult and was too lazy to do any research......

........or she is actually already a scio and didn't bother to mention that lack of objectivity in her article.


Either way, this is a huge blunder for a PROFESSIONAL JOURNALIST to make



How could ANYONE .....much less a PROFESSIONAL JOURNALIST......miss all the media reporting about the cult's abuses.....it just takes 5 minutes on google to figure out it's a scam and to avoid it.

I will never read another piece of crap out of that woman, who obviously doesn't even do basic research before she starts to blah,blah, blah. I can't believe she gets paid for this.

I wonder if future employers might want to know how totally clueless and slip- shod her reporting is....... eh?

The article in the local Pasadena paper about the idle org opening there was also a puff piece. I suspect that COS is really carefully managing this coverage, probably working over the editors before the article is even assigned to someone.

This is very sad. It's the Duwamish Tribe in Seattle & sadly they are not federally recognized, poor & depend upon tourism to survive. I believe they must have been paid to be there & will look into it. I have no doubt that the affluent federally recognized tribes in the area would not gone near this cult!
