The upload server is back online now and I am slowing pushing out all the waiting transfers (server is all clogged up, and its taking many many upload attempts). I've also been given a few astropulse's, which I am now churning though. This should get my credit average up!

Am nao at just over 67% of task (started June 30th, ending July 30th), am all excited (woots!) Still would like some advice on if this has to be manually sent in once over, I am durrrr. But its cool! Didn't think task could be done in time but their system seemed to optimise what could be done, dis is reals! I think though, unless there is another way, that I'll stick ta smaller projects from nao on as I do not liek running PC 24/7 (had 3-4 crashes on me shitty OS vs Connection, seems system does not liek too much surfing), but all is okay so far in general. Rah! Rah! Rah! Team Xenu!

I don't know. Creativity is supposed to be a strong point here, not that I'm contributing a whole bunch, lol. But who knows - someone come up with some ideas, and I'll try to help with what I can. I'm trying to work on the press release, but I've got a full time 7 day a week job (No, not SeaOrg, I have an actual salary with benefits and everything). I'm not one for the creative side of press releases and gimmicks and memes and stuff, but I can certainly work on writing up a rough draft that can be tweaked and edited. Right now, we're in a decline of active members generating data. Why? Don't know. Could be due to lack of anything happening. We were at 87 members active and borderline on breaking 100. Now we're at 82 and officially out of the top 120. That should give an idea of whats going on. We need people who were contributing but have stopped to come back, and new people to join in to fill their spots/boost numbers. It's not about how many are in the group, its about how many are actively crunching numbers and raising the average work done stat.

A mock press-release where we genuinely sounded intent on finding Xenu, promising the public to restore order to the Galactic Federation, etc. would be pretty funny IMO. It would only be picked up by some blogs and stuff but there's always the million-to-one shot of something like Colbert or Attack of the Show appreciating the silliness and mentioning it.

There's probably a good reason no one came to rescue him (it?). I think there's a bunch of disgruntled fleets lookin' fer several billion years of back-wages too, the marcabians are not pleased. But I digress. From what I understand of the 'history' (aka ol' Flubbernutz) Xenu was imprisoned here on Teegeeack, in some cave. Nao, what I don't understand is if the poor bastad was placed in stasis or just left there to his own devices. Well, I don't know what the life expectancy of these particular aliens is, but I am highly doubting it would have been more than a couple of hundred years. The other factor in all the considerations are the 'eternal batteries' used to imprison Xenu. Given the amount of time involved, and the fact that at the time they were using DC-8-like craft (but with rocket engines), one would conclude that their systems have long since rotted out and Lord Xenu has been a pile of dust for a good long time. Then there is the 'magnetic tape' 'tech', boy, we sure could use some of that too, just think, build a string or two of that and get all these pesky BT's trapped again, just liek fly papers or something. Regardless, the search for the origional planetary sources of this world killer should continue, for many reasons, not the least of which is re-uniting with our families and re-fueling of the Marcabian fleet, but for our very survival too: We must get our hands on the 'battery tech', this is something that could help the Wogs out a bunch, and surely Lron and his merry band of infidels have been keeping this from the populace for their own greedy ends, no doubt to run their own spacecrafts and leave mankind in the dark when they figure out most humans won't pay a red dime to gain all the un-fathomable sekrits cult has to offer. Here's the basic specs per what I'm building: Some decent ASUS board, like, 80 bucks...can't remember specs right now, will run up to 1333 or whatever the new FSB is ANTEC TruePower 750W PSU 2.8ghz Core Duo 1066FSB (With aftermarket Zalman cooling) 2x2GB G.Skill 1066 DDR2 (Dual Channel, of course) 1 ~300GB 3.0GB/S SATA 8MB CACHE And the kicker... NVidia n7900GT (1GB) PCI-E X16 And of course, a badass case. But not some ridiculous Alienware knockoff looking shit, just a nice gloss black with a couple blue lcd fans and a nice plexiglass side panel, some (functional!) gauges on the front - VU, Temp, and Fan Speed. And as always, it'll be running a SEVERELY stripped down version of Windows XP (Most likely Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PC's *wink*) Am thinking about toying around with Server 2k3 or 2k8...2k8 is closer to Vista but I hear it runs like a raped ape slimmed down, just as 2k3 is supposed to. I imagine at any rate 2k3 has to use less, but...eh, I dunno. So yeah, I think this'll be a howler, and as always, I plan on devoting nearly 100% runtime to SETI with it - I don't know if there's any sort of record (e-peen) for this or not, but I pretty much leave this on 24/7 with my SETI prefs set to put me as idle after about 0.20 seconds of inactivity, with 95% proc usage and like about 60% of my mem (total 1280GB) - lol, on this 2.8 northwood p4 (nonHT) it raises my temps about 20 degrees - added another fan, took it down like four degrees, still clocking down slightly here and there, so I'm just running it with the side off for now - like, 10 degree difference there, so it's all good. Wonder how my Dual Core will do? The case is SUPPOSED to be designed for good ventilation, and the cooler I've gotten for the proc is supposed to be damn nice, as well - about a 10-15c degree difference from what I've read of most people's reviews and with Arctic Silver #5 I think it should run pretty cool. Wonder if it'll still be the same 30 or 40 bucks a month, lol. We'll be skyrocketing even faster shortly with another 2.8GHZ Dual Core with a n7900GT w/ CUDA I think, even IF I don't OC anything And to think I'll have to be a cheap ass and stay with my 1024X768 Samsung 17" LCD from like 2000, lol. Oh, well - still a crisp picture, no dead pixels, and I find it hard to part with the A/V jacks, headphone jacks, and built in TV tuner/PIP. (Between Berkley and the Royal Astronomical Society of Canuckistan) You may have had the list sorted by total credit and not Recent Average Credit. Since we started a lot later than many of the other teams, or total is relatively low, and we're pretty far down on the list.
