Also, *slaps self in the face with a fish*. I'm not crazy about the colours cause I've never liked taupe, but I'm sure I'll learn to ignore it. EDIT: Also, is it possible to have a return of the "Skip to first unread post"?
thanks. It seems to be working again. Edit: Well, seemed to be working in other threads/posts. Not this one. Edit 2: post deletion works here: https://whyweprotest.net/community/threads/this-is-a-test-thread.98644/ must be different permissions. Good Enough xoxoxo
No problem with the new site since today .... .... all my NEW watching threads ARE ????? no where, except when I found it back (watching threads are is Still lock on) PS : without receiving emails reload me....one day thanks for all the stuff you do for our new site.
I developed and maintained an electronic medical record program for a large practice for several years. Users got a stable working version of the program while I used a development version I could bug fix and continually tweak. Every few weeks or months I'd compile the development version and lay it on the users, usually with some announcements about new features and changes. But once in a while I'd hit a point of no return. I might find a serious security issue I hadn't noticed before, or there would be so many changes between the two versions that I couldn't quickly add a necessary small addition to both. Then I'd have to do a sudden update without warning and everyone would hate me. But they'd get over it. I found that when I was programming, I'd be totally in my head. It took some time to get all the if-thens up and running inside my thoughts. So breaking concentration hurt, almost. Casual interruptions would annoy the fuck out of me. Working by myself, there's no way I could have solved the problems I did solve through consensus. Programming and talking about programming is much like playing tennis and talking about tennis. Totally different activities impossible to do simultaneously. Yes, I tried my best to solicit input and feedback. But I couldn't limit myself by the need for general agreement. Not enough hours in the day. tl;dr: <3 Sue.
^^^ Unfortunately, coders who can think get paid better money not to code. The who end up writing the bulk of the stuff that people actually use, tend to be either not "smart" enough to get kicked upstairs into management or masochists with some kind of fetish for good practice and good design.
Where's all the bitching and whining about the forums being reordered again? With how much there usually is, I find it hard to believe no-one's making retarded complaints about it this time..
*sigh* OK, let me do it... Whine whine bitch bitch Y u moevd teh forumz again zuE? Izt klok zoo mean und fuglY! U r a mean adMi1n! Bitch whine bitch whine There, happy now? (I actually don't have trouble with how the forums look now...I like the "Downstairs" LOL )
I've been seeing a lot of broken image thumbnails today, i thought at first something was being worked on. But now I noticed, a right-click + reload seemingly pops up the pic everytime. Not saying this is a bug, just mentioning it in case others are seeing the same thing and its not just my interwebs short circuiting.
No vids loading in this forum since upgrade. Right clicking says "movie not loaded..." and underneath has link to flashplayer site. No problems with vids on any other sites. Otherwise, very much like upgrade. Soothing to an old lady's eyeballs.
I taped a pink filter onto my screen which I flip over when I'm on WWP. Makes WWP more readable than looking at vomit green.
Thanks to anon who found it, and to anon who reported it. Only an admin can fix it - I have notified sue.
Can the forced default italics in quote boxes be removed. I hate it. It spoils formatting, especially when quoting dox, where layout is important. We had this italic quote thing on the old vbulletin and I hated it then. It was gone when we first went to Xenforo and now it's back. Raegwhine.
