My grammar is pretty good, but my writing style doesn't exactly fit a press release (especially at 12:30 in the morning). However, I do have Panopreter, which converts text files into mp3's and a youtube, current.com, and cnn blog account. Probably others as well. If we can get one of the national cable news networks to pick up this story, the rest will methinks. "Church" leader beating staff? Extortion and coercion? Several pending lawsuits? Possible HIPAA violation? To my mind, it sounds like journalism gold!

Very good point about celebrity interest. This is precisely why LRH started the celebrity centers in the first place. As to the story having wider impact, I think that is getting better as time goes on. The last three parter had wide spread interest and the worse the cult PR becomes the more of a story celebrity membership will become. I also feel that those of us who are more involved in the story sometimes fail to see it's place in the larger picture. To those not directly impacted by, or particularly interested in the cult, it isn't that interesting. Take a look at the Rick Ross site and there are dozens of organizations that have been written about over the years. Other than local interest around the cults bases of operation I doubt there would be much interest at all if not for celebrity involvment.

Who's the one who got the video footage and photos of a scientolgist on the Running Track at a Gold Base protest recently? Send links/email to SP Times.

They were just working out sponge...completely by choice too! I bet they would event attest to doing it for their own good.

I agree, and at some point someone's got to ask Tom Cruise about the allegations against his bestest butt buddy, David Miscavige.

There are a few scilon celebs left, and I think they should all be asked how they feel about promoting a violent cult that is being widely exposed.

Lol, of course they were, and then afterwards they go for a nice facial massage by repeadtedly smacking their chin against Miscaviges stationary fist. ;).
I mentioned it because I was just watching the latest video interviews again on the SP Times article and the RPF running track is referred to (as well as on their map of the base) and they might like some video for the next salvo (but they'd probably want to talk to the person that shot the video/photos to verify location, date and time of day.

Some tv interviewer has got to take a chance on this. It would be a great career move. Get TC in on the pretense of a promotional for his next project and then play one of the most DM-damning videos from the SP Times to him. The reaction would be priceless.

I read somewhere that Tommy won't give an interview unless there is an agreement not to discuss the cult. I think he would walk out while the video was played, but it would still be priceless.

Maybe Will Smith can comment. After all, he's not a $cientologist, is he? And his school has but the merest connections to Scientology. He is simply a neutral party, with just a tiny bit of natural sympathy, since some of his best friends happen to be $cientologists. So why should he be afraid to weigh in?

You tend to see this a lot in people who have left scientology. Especially those who have moved into the freezone.

Just another piece of the programming an ex has to unpick, although possibly the hardest of all - since in admitting that the system itself is the reason this happens (rather then current management) is to admit that all one's energy was in fact wasted, a very hard pill to swallow.

Yah, I don't necessarily think that Marty has this plan all thought out to unseat Davie and to step into the chair of power.

It's quite likely that he's still under the spell of Scientology which states that:

    Scientology always works.
    1. If it doesn't work, you're doing it wrong.
    2. If you're not doing it wrong, there there must be a suppressive person holding you back.
    3. Find this person and remove them.
    4. Rise, repeat.
Frequently Freezoners have a belief in a Golden Age when everything worked, everyone has happy, and it all made some kind of sense, but they usually disagree as to when this Golden Age actually occurred.
