Do I need to explain ?

They announced they are rewriting the "No Child Left Behind" fail program that the Bush admin started.
I hope the rewrite puts a huge damper on Scientology's "free tutoring" that they offer to some schools. If the rewrite is a lot less stricter and it takes the pressure off teachers, then they will not be as likely to be pressured into accepting the free tutoring for their students.
Wonder what schools are still using Applied Scholastics tutoring. I think it was DC was one of them.

Still, when writing is no longer taught, and the Oklahoma legislature removes final exams because they are too strenuous for the students, if nothing else, it is dumbing down the kids. Intentional or not.
