stay safe. This is probably redundant, and I'm not too savvy on computer/internet security issues, but I want to point something out. This leaks thread is tomorrows fair game thread. Is everyone uploading to filesharing sites able to do so without it being traced back to them should CoS sue the sites being uploaded to? And a well known and typical tactic of CoS is to sue anyone who facilitates the sharing of their copyrighted materials in any way. This forum would be a primary target. Permitting this be become a clearing house for CoS materials bears a great risk, IMO. Wikileaks are different. All you're doing in that regard is telling people a place where something can be found. But individual members to this forum uploading copyrighted materials to a file sharing site, and then posting the links on this forum, and then others downloading those materials is putting each uploader, and this forum and web site and therefore the movement at risk. Unless of course security precautions are in place that reliably cover tracks, even if CoS obtains a court order to turn over the hiddne data. If it's possible to do this through 3rd parties like wikileaks, instead of directly on this site, I think it would be much safer. They've taken many sites down where even the suggestions that copyrighted materials were being made available, because the ISP's aren't going to put their butts on the line when threatened with legal action. And if you've already got this all covered and I'm just being paranoid, then just disregard.
Re: stay safe. lol if you only knew what sort of stuff places like Rapidshare contain....I don't think they'll go down for CO$ BAWWing. Furthermore, it takes more than bawwing for a hosting service to give up IPs, and should they give up the IPs it takes more than bawwing for the ISPs to give up names. This site isn't hosting any of the leaks, hosting sites have you jump through a few hoops to get the file which means there's no direct linking. Laws are changing in terms of whistleblowers too, so the CO$ has a seriously shitty % of getting names.

Re: stay safe. Glad to hear it. I've had freezone friends hit in the past, and they were dropped like hot potatoes. I'm delighted to hear that type of suppression is harder for them to come by. Go steroided hackers ! ! ! !
Re: stay safe. Rapidshare is mostly warez and pron. Having downloaded a lot of stuff from there, I have neither seen anything be removed (apart from due to inactivity) or them giving out anyone's details.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but the reason for my caution on this is that while in the freezone, I've seen almost every group and every one of their websites attacked at one time or another. And half the time, the people were just unceremoniously dumped by the service provider. It seems they're a little busy at the moment, however. :applause:
