    sunderland no protest but!!!

I did'nt think there would a protest but I thought I'd have a wonder down to Sunderland with the little one, do a bit shopping and check out the Org at the same time, the doors are still shut, so that's go to be about 6 months nobody's seen them open, did'nt cross the road to see if the light's were on though.
I will try to get to the Northumbria Idle Org next week to see if anything's going on there.

    ORG'S CLOSED
    DUE TO...
    IT BEING SHITE

And yes, we could do with an update on the Northumbria idle org's level of failness.
I think this was the most recent recon: http://forums.whyweprotest.net/281-europe/northumbria-ideal-org-flyer-raid-56556/
Can you also fint out what that statue is in the park grounds, which happens to look upon the the fail org. I noticed it whilst browsing on Google Earth). It has the Borough of Gateshead emblem on the plinth but I don't know who the figure is and what it is for (google turned up nothing).

Wow excellent news Charlie so the doors have been closed for a good while now. Is this a permanent close or are they planning there move?

    Re: sunderland no protest but!!!

    Planning to move?
You mean the one person manning Sunderland Org going and sitting in a back room of the Gateshead care home?
    Wow. :)

Veg. texted me yesterday from Sunderland the doors still shut on the org LOL.
I was attending a meeting with a disability charity in gateshead when they started talking about mental health issues so I ended up having a good old chat with them about the scilons, there ideas on mental health and front groups especially as the charity are looking to form partnerships with others.

The missing (or boarded up) letterbox is a particularly nice touch. Could this cult reek any more strongly of "death spiral", if they tried?

    Thanks for this encouraging news.

Old letter boxs are generally brass they must of weighed it in LOL.

    Re: sunderland no protest but!!!

i'm kinda saddened by this. it's awesome yelling profanities at a building and the people in it. but now it's dead.. and the next org is out of short reach.

    Re: sunderland no protest but!!!

Dunno, but an empty org is a good thing so long as there is no raw meat walking into the place. It costs them money to keep these places running and that means some of their money is not harming people elsewhere. If you picket them then they might start staffing the place again and we don't want that.

    Re: sunderland no protest but!!!

i'll 2nd that. they first pissed me off 20 yrs ago when they were following my girlfriend to college an stuff. at that time protest tactics were of no importance to me so i ended up forcing my way into the upstairs to threaten the guy who had been hassling her. all he kept asking was who i was .lol. i said it didn't matter who i was, and delivered him no direct threat, but by my tone of voice and the way i was 2 inches from his face saying he WILL leave her alone, i think he got the message. not great tactics i know but i was 18 and it DID have the desired effect.
if anyone has any pics of staff that woulda worked there in the years 89/90, i would be most interested to identify the guy

Hip Hip Horray! You win "Spot the Sunderland Scilon".

Have they fixed that letter box on the door yet or is it still that untidy slot that looks boarded up from the back and unusable?
  39. charlie Member

    Re: sunderland no protest but!!!

Bloody hell wonder if they drafted in SO to run the place.
