Roland you FORGET this is 2010 NOT 1997-1998.

A hell of a LOT MORE people ALREADY KNOW about Scientology today than they did 10-12 years ago. So YOU BACK THE FUCK OFF thanks.

QUIT ramming this 'Oh giving out 15,000 fliers can be done, we OG give out 5000 fliers in Poole' shit, down our throats.

WE DO NOT CARE how many fliers you OG gave out TWELVE YEARS AGO.

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

The drama in this thread needs to die before it gets any worse and people need to calm down. Yes okay so Roland has repeated a few steps and trod on a few toes but hey, there's nothing like being thorough. Roland however could do with remembering that this isn't a contest between OG and current Anon, all 'OG' means is that they've been in it longer. OG and current Anon are part of the same group doing the same group and trying to achieve the same thing. Numbers of fliers are irrelevant, it doesn't matter if X only handed out 1500 when Y handed out 5000...it's still 6500 public who are better informed than they were. It's not a competition to see who can hand out the most fliers so stop turning it into an issue.

Shadow never actually doxed anyone so your troll fails, however I'm with you on the 'amusing' thing. Plus he would have been all over this rates relief thing like Kirstie Alley in a lard-filled cake shop...one way or another I think the board is a little the worse off for the lack of his presence

Will you please stop editing everyone's fliers all of the time? They're usually fine before you go and make them worse.

Too much drama ITT, and it's not even sunderland fags causing it. This thread is supposed to be about SUNDERLAND rates relief so maybe the London lot should stop spreading their own brand of cancer and fail...by all means chip in with the rates relief problem but for god's sake confine your infighting and drama to your own fucking threads

So a UK government is thinking about taking away charitable status from an organization that operates like a for profit business? Well that's good. You wouldn't think it would take this long...

that leaflet, its 80% this 20% that,
what i want to know is how much they should be paying, what they are paying, and am i subsidising this tax con. everything else is secondary.

Not sure which of the two is the org

    51 Fawcett Street, Sunderland

    GRND FLR & BST - Sunderland, SR1 1RS

    2010 - Rateable value: £21,500
    2005 - Rateable value: £21,500

Your national rates liability for 2010/11 is estimated to be £9878.17

    1st to 3rd Floor - Sunderland, SR1 1RS

    2010 - Rateable value: £15,750
    2005 - Rateable value: £13,000

Your national rates liability for 2010/11 is estimated to be £6520.50

They're more than shiny. Don't ever look at one directly. Most owners end up calling them 'Precious' and losing weight.

Also - As i can't be arsed writing my own appropriate flier i will shelve my criticisms of the current contenders and wait to see whether Galvatron or Optimus Prime emerge victorious from the Flier battle. I'll print and distribute the victors hallowed parchment, and will nevar forget those that fell this day

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

I think the org owns it all and rents out the ground floor - not sure though. No idea about the basement.

The BBC did this search on Google yesterday and landed on my business rates relief document. Maybe they got this story line from the Guardian.

scientology sunderland "scientology sunderland" "sunderland echo" OR "business rates"

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

I agree but it's not my town and I can't get there to do any leafletting. Tell people there that they are subsidising this tax con with suitable signs and leaflets and I think a huge number of leaflets can be shifted and people will phone in or visit council officies and complain and get the decision reversed but there are a lot of naysayers who say that will not happen. At the end of the day, it is up to the people of Sunderland. So long as the people of Sunderland are happy to pay their own money for this tax con then no action need be taken.

You are free to make improvements to this leaflet and tailor it more to give impact on the people of Sunderland. I updated it today but I am a long way away and I don't know what is on peoples minds there and how to word the leaflet to have effect.

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

I like it. That's very good.

How much would it cost to print on A4 an initial 5,000 leaflets (so this would make 10,000 leaflets when cut in half)? What is the lowest price you can get it printed in SUNDERLAND or GATESHEAD (I stress that because a lot of leaflets can be very heavy).

Charlie - can you check up on this?

If it's a good price then I will pay for it and Charlie can hold the leaflets. If they get to the public well then I will be willing to pay for more.

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

Err slight change of plan Roland , we are going to print off as many as we can at home . We cant shift 5.000 as there's not enough of us up here, I asked BB to do 2 to a sheet of A 4 to max out on paper and ink .

Don't no at the minute what veravendetta's got planed but if he dose his neck of the woods , we can both do the city centre shops plus any volunteers would be handy .

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

Charlie, you MAD?, I wouldn't turn Roland's awesome offer in PAYING for photocopying /printing down.
  36. charlie Member

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

No not mad but I cannot see the point in doing 5.000 who's going to deliver them its £3.00 for 500 sheets of A4 plus inks £10 including a extra black , but I will go back to the guy I got the price off with your flier that will save on art work .
  37. RolandRB Member

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

So long as it is a penny for an A4 sheet or less (which makes two fliers when cut in half) then I am happy. I'll pay. Get 1000 done (which makes 2000 fliers) and see how it goes from there. I'll pay. I'll pay for more as needed. Do photocopies if cheaper.

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

It's just manpower or lack of it .
  39. RolandRB Member

Re: Sunderland Rates Relief based talk

    They'll shift. Trust me.

I used to print on my inkjet HP at about a penny or less per A4 sheet for B&W. This was refilling with replacement black ink (not original). I am sure it is still possible at that cost.

If you do find they shift well and lack manpower then a call to Anons is in order and I am sure they will respond.
