TG12, the story!

Da var TG over og jeg har fått mine tjuefire timer med søvn på busser, taxi, bussholdeplasser samt min egen seng.

Vi fra anonnorway møttes uttenfor TG klokken fem på onsdag og diskuterte hva vi skulle finne på. Vi skulle jo egentlig henge opp ett flagg utenfor Skipet, men først var crew for opptatte til å hjelpe oss og dagen etterpå fikk vi ett klart NEI. De tauet også Jess inn fordi vi samlet inn penger til Digitalt Personvern. Selv om vi hadde alle tilatelser vi trengte fra lotteritilsynet osv. Ville ikke TG at vi skulle samle inn penger i skipet siden mange andre hadde fått nei når de spurte. pytt pytt, de tok ikke pengene vi allerede hadde samlet inn i det minste.

bare noen timer etter dette ble tatt var skiltet dekket av sorte søppelposer...

Hvor mangen var vi egentlig? Ingen som vet! Det var mye masker i sirkulasjon på TG, og vi solge også masker til intresserte. Vi tenkte at vi skulle prøve å ta ett gruppebilde på TG i år, så vi sa det til de som var på vår lille skypegruppe på 14 personer at de skulle si ifra til alle som hadde masker at de skulle møte oss ved hyperion sin stand klokken tolv.
riktig nok var ikke alle som møtte oss medlemmer av Ningen, WWP eller hva det skal være, men vi fikk fortalt om megaraidet vi akter å ha i Oslo, anonnorway.org og WhyWeProtest.net

I want to talk about Project X, so there is no confusion as to what happened
I've been working on it for a few months, and the idea is that Im gonna try collecting 10.000 to digitaltpersonvern.no to help them out. I have the law on my side, as anyone in norway can collect up tp 30.000 to whatever cause they want to, as long as it isnt agains Norwegian laws. I have spoken to the police, insamlingskontrollen and lotteritilsynet, and everyone said go for it

The story around why I had to cover it isnt as dramatic as some think, even tough it is always a bit nerve-wrecking to be called in to a meeting with authority-figures. I did get a bit nervous, and had hoped it could stay :/

We had been going around talking to people about the collection, and I had one of the securityguys coming behind me "Miss Jessica? Please come and follow me"... I was like "ok" and then he took me up to the securitytower. At that point I understood that this was not just a chat, and I got a bit bummed out cuz I started suspection it was about my collection, and not positive, cuz he seemed kind of serious :/ I asked if I should be nervous, and he said no, we just had to talk a bit about project X. Then two more guys came, and they where from the leadergroup. They said TGs leader had decided i couldnt keep my collection because It was against TGs policy. I explained to them that it was legal, and they said that they thought it was a good idea, but TG had already said no to some people who wanted to collect money to children in Uganda, and some other things, so they had to be fair

Then I asked if I could pleade my cause to the leader, but they said he was to busy, and the leadergroup (consisting of five people) had decided that it had to be that way, even though they supported it.

It sucked, but at least we got to have it up for one and a half day before it closed. We collected 1301,50,- in that short time, and I am sure we would have made the 10.000 mark if it got to sty up the whole time

Project X will continue in May, and I hope as many people as possible wll try to collect money to digitaltpersonvern.no as possible in their home towns.
