Hate to say it, but I"ve kept an eye on the tabloids. The child on the cover of the current People (or Us, whichever) has neither Tom nor Katie's eyes.

It has been interesting to see the rags running with cover basically saying, "OMG, dressing your three year old as a slut might just be the wrong thing to do" featuring Suri as example NUMBER ONE.

Everybody's fascinated by Suri, but I don't know anyone who thinks she looks 'sweet' or 'cute'.

Just wait til the fishlips grow in. Regular Innsmouth type in the end. Just like Daddy.

Tom Cruise's Career Rehab Secrets - The Daily Beast

"And this publicist believes that "the fact that he's a Scientologist is the root of the problem... Now that it's been exposed, you can't but it back in the bottle." She thinks Scientology handlers are still deeply involved in making decisions about Cruise's career. Those who represent him say that's not so. "He's decided that whatever he does for the church is private," says a central member of the Cruise team."

Good decision, Tom, especially after that nice little video you made. NOTHING is private any more.

At least it's a damn bottle. The first scilon family I encountered (co-tenants of our building), the kids were 7 and 4 and still sucking mom's teats, which she nonchalantly would bare even in front of guests for them to feed on demand. I only met her husband once, he was never home, probably plugging away for the cult somewhere. The one time I did he struck me as creepy and abusive.

I used to wonder why they lived in a $250 a month apartment in a condemned building and had no food or furniture... had nothing but stacks and stacks of books by that creepy sci-fi writer...

I don't know what makes me feel worse: the flu or that pic. Good, but terrifying, shoop. Maybe some nutria and boudin rouge would make me feel better.

I could just see the 99¢ store chain refusing them "Even we cant push that crap" or if they did take then it would be to market them as Floor Protectors in which the DVDs would come 4 in a pack for 99¢ to put under each of the legs of a table. LOL!

well actually they were marked $3.99.
But I didn't see anyone give them a second look. Or a first look for that matter

Poor Suri looks grotesque. Children have parents for a reason.

Has anyone heard her talking yet?

Cocaine by the looks of his performance in Top Gun. Before the days of crack. Although crack whore does seem a fitting title.

Re: The Big Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes News Thread - Part the Third

I like (what I've seen of) Amy, and I've no *motive* for doubting her (outside of mere intellectual honest - I am a skeptic, after all), but this question is bullshit. She's selling a book. She's working to undermine Scientology (regardless of her motives for doing so). She's got plenty of incentive to make up controversial things to achieve either of her overt motives.

That said, the right question is 'dox or it didn't happen.' She has every right to say/print what she wants to (so long as it falls shy of libel/slander), and I'll defend that right. But I don't regard her as offering the gospel truth - even if she's a good, honest, kind person that's honestly recounting events as she remembers them.

Someone that wants to take down the cult should look at the claims she - and others - make that are most damning, and seek out confirmation of them. But don't pre-suppose that everyone on our side is speaking God's Own truth (or even that their writing is wholly honest and accurate) - to do so leaves yourself open to looking like a fool and being discredited.
