The Fall of Scientology: Chanology SF Raeps On

I do see a stump of a post on the right, but I never gave it much thought.
  2. i'mglib Member

So, is the parking sign gone? Or is it still there and something else is missing?
  3. grebe Member

From the pics it looks like the parking signs are attached to the taller lamp posts. So I dunno, maybe that stashed sign has been sitting in the alley for a long time.

I suppose it is up to the city to fix the sidewalks. On the other hand, holes are trip hazards. So I can't really blame a shop owner for doing some minor repairs outside his door if they're done competently.

I remain ready to raeg a little if the Scientologists actively took down the sign without asking, but for now I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I doubt the sidewalks are their property. Sure, if there was a trip hazard, I could see placing some sort of warning or something, but filling it in with concrete? I hope the city charges them for the cost of drilling out the concrete when the workers replace that sign.
  5. Anonymous Member

You are correct. Individuals may not do repairs to city of SF property.
  6. Anonymous Member

A little bird told me that actually, a stump had been there for a long time now -- I think the Scilons were eventually like, "Fuck it!" and filled up the hole, even though they weren't supposed to.

So... the NO PARKING sign or whatever wasn't apparently removed by them -- not sure where it came from, but I think the cult just filled in a hole that needed filling. Would they actually do something logical?
  7. Anonymous Member

That's what plastic cones, Krylon marker paint and complaints to the city are for, not DIY trimming a stump and filling with concrete. (Hey, any file of complaints to the city by CoS about this would be public record, right? If they exist, might not even need a FOIA to see it.)

Hey, it's been vouched for by a little bird that CoS didn't do it. That's good enough for me!
  8. Sponge Member

The thing is, if the unofficial concrete repair is not up to scratch, crumbles and fails, and then someone trips over it, injuring themselves, then who gets the ultimate blame/lawsuit? The photos in thread could perhaps one day become evidence for a member of the public to raep SF scientology either directly or through the city.

great job, friends! wish I could have been there -- but you guys are plenty enturbu-licious!

no, they put them on their own poles as well in SF. I can see three from where I sit.

OMG SATURDAY NIGHT DISCO RAID REPORT!

We saw a couple of Scilons. We called the raid early due to lack of Scilons to mesmerize with our disco sticks.

SFOF is truly a morg tonight :)

Edit: I keep forgetting to post this, but it was from a raid this week! Some of the SF cops seem to really like us and are tired of getting calls from the mOrg every time we're out. One of them drove up, and when an Anon went to talk to them the interchange went something like this (greatly paraphrased):

Anon: So what did we do this time?
SFPD: Let me see... chalking on the sidewalk. Huge crime there. Also, dancing to the radio... yup, yup, that's also a crime.
Anon: You mean exercising our first amendment right to protest?
SFPD: That's it! You guys are in so much trouble... (carry on).

While that's entirely possible, there was a citation issued - it took at least 20-25 min for just that ticket. Then, another cop pulled up and kind of trolled the dude who was watching the cement dry and he seemed to be questioning him about the cement too.

Here's another shot I found that shows the pole stump.

The stump in question is behind that red tour bus in this picture - it's not visible that I can tell here (I enlarged the image 500%).

    I got there late.
My limo was held up by some kind of sports match and my goons over at Pfizer were too green to control traffic. I'll be sending them to reprogramming camp in the morning.
First a picture of the sign:
    SgIubs.jpg
It was a dead slow night. I love how rewarding this job has become, show up, profit, it's as easy as that. We win *every* battle, *EVERY* time.
The front door was closed and locked, only the side door was open.
Some cool dude was manning the back desk, wearing an "SF Giants" hat, and texting the night away. He rarely looked up from his phone and was probably bored to tears.
PTS and Moog were already there, dancing and eating caek. Anna joined shortly after I got there... apparently the MIB over at Glaxo-Smith-Klein were having the same traffic control problems.
Seriously people, if we're going to have a global psychiatric conspiracy, the least we can do is control traffic right? Sheesh.
Anyway, we danced, we frolicked, we ate much of PTS' amazing caek, we chalked like children and we informed the public about Scientology's attempts to free mankind. Moog's tunes kept the rave strong.

I was feeling especially hypergraphic tonight. Perhaps my handlers didn't give me enough thorazine, perhaps the recent full moon necessitated an increase in dosage.

My eyes in the sky did some recon, they could only see 3 souls in the building. 2 on the course floor, one was just watching videos, the other seemed to be reading, and the third person on the admin (3rd) floor.
Between the bunch of us, I think we only saw maybe 5 people come in and out of the morg, all of them staff.
All but two of the ground floor windows had been covered up with cardboard, the two remaining were Ron's office and a counseling room of some sort. A pair of grumpy automatons spend the last 20 minutes of the evening discussing something in the counseling room, they looked really sad.

We went to dinner at the Ritz, persons of our professional status and international stature seldom dine poorly, and really it's all on the bills of the largest multinational psychoactive drug conglomerate's bill. Just before desert (I had the gold coated straberries armaud), I stepped out to check in with HQ, the APA likes nightly updates, you know. I walked over to the morg and saw "El Douchebag", who was on the second floor earlier, locked out of the building, on the phone, trying to get in, then he walked around the block and took pictures of our chalk art. Honestly, I was pretty surprised that they had not cleaned up already.

I finished desert, made sure the other ops got safely to their limos and decided to make another round.
I saw an unknown face, probably an RPFer, a 'gimp' in layman's terms, undoing our beautiful chalk work. I had never seen his face before, he's probably not seen the light of day in years. He was a blue-shirt, one of the billion year set, a sad soul if I ever saw one.

The pole stump is on the right hand side as you face it. It is a bit hard to see in the post, but it's between the anon with the purple hat and the anon talking to the passerby.

Someone should take the broken sign and some photos to the city. I can provide hi-res photos of 2008 if needed. The cut-off pole, or stump, is clearly visible.

Does Blue Shirt actually = Sea Org? Fuuuuuuck.

Having trouble uploading my videos, but the most significant thing that happened to me (oh, besides the dirty looks shot me by the Giants fan manning the front desk) was an angry IAS dude that tried to scare me as he left the org.

I was standing outside, and he *storms* out of the org, snarling, "What are YOU doing here!?"

The best thing was he only left for a smoke break (what's up with the nicotine addiction among staff? don't they know there's withdrawal from stopping that shit, just as there would be if you had to get off your psych meds?!) and I got to Confront him as he returned. He didn't say anything else to me, but he did get into my personal space a bit -- FAIL at intimidation, sir.

I've noticed a ton of new people (staff, that is) at the org -- wonder where they came from?

We also have not seen Jennifer2 ever since the last IAS event -- and she was there ALL the TIME. Very strange indeed.

We saw the sign last night, and it did look to have been attached to the top of a pole.

I have no idea what the uniform colors mean anymore....not since they hired a PR firm to dress them all up like little Damian Thorns http://gawker.com/5330967/scientologys-creepy-new-uniforms
He's certainly a face I haven't seen before, and certainly wearing a color scheme that I haven't seen in a long while.

Those are stumps from parking meters now replaced by the automatic card-reading parking "station" that's behind the anon in the purple hat, not a parking sign.

The sign that was removed was one that said "tour bus loading" because the scios are tired of tour buses loading and parking in front of their door.
  26. Anonymous Member

If they're tired of random passers-by gawking and LOLing
maybe they should remove this sign too

here (left corner) is the famous TOUR BUS LOADING sign, as it appeared on April 24 2010:

    YzGqj.jpg

here it is on April 30 2010:

    BYIwu.jpg

then May 24 2010, SUDDENLY GONE, leaving just the raised sign foundation there for people to trip over:

    4QnDU.jpg

September 2010 a belated TRAFFIC CONE appeared:

    2Sg1H.jpg

February 13 2011 ALL GONE! (don't look in the crack behind building)

Yeah, that must interfere with their Stress Test tables trying to sell to passersby. Wait a moment...

    Excellent work, Sir!!

I think the Scilons must like the tour buses, though. More possible public and also the buses block the protestors... and gas us with the exhaust.

I see the city puts poles inside poles. So maybe the "stub" mentioned earlier was the pole support for the sign-on-a-pole that was stashed in the alley?

Was the APA in town May 2010? I wonder if the cult wanted to park a bus there that they wouldn't have to move after 10 minutes --a bus full of sea org protesters from out of town.

    Yep.

The 164th Annual Meeting of the American Psychiatric Association, May 14-18, 2011, in Honolulu, Hawaii, was a great success. If you missed it, see interview below with human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Archbishop Desmond Tutu. He presented the William H. Menninger Lecture at this year's Convocation.

How the f*** did we miss that shit?! I would have loved to counter-protest against any possible CCHR stuff. I've been wanting to get together an "I *heart* my psychiatrist" sign, and what an apt venue it would have been!

Looks as though, however, the convention will be in SF again soon. I'd better get started on that sign. They always take longer to make than you think...
