Wife Of Tom Cruise’s Former Scientology Auditor Sues The Church And Its Leader For Harassment | Radar Online

The wife of the man who led audits on Tom Cruise when he was a top exec at the Church of Scientology has filed a lawsuit against the organization and its controversial leader, David Miscavige, claiming harassment, and RadarOnline.com has all the details.

Former senior exec Marty Rathbun‘s wife, Monique, — who has never been a member of the church — filed a multi-million dollar suit in Comal County, Texas, on August 16 calling Scientology a “notorious, multi-billion dollar cult,” claiming harassment from them.

Monique was even granted a temporary restraining order last Friday, calling on the church to stop following her electronically and cease surveillance on her.

Interestingly, Monique met Marty in 2005 after he’d already left Scientology, and the two began a new life together in Texas — but claims in the court documents that the was “intentionally targeted by OSA [Office of Special Affairs] merely because of her relationship with Mr. Rathbun.”

“She has been subjected to numerous, aggressive attempts to intimidate her… She has been targeted at home, at work, and anywhere else that she happens to be,” the lawsuit alleges.

“She has been harassed, insulted, surveilled, photographed, videotaped, defamed, and humiliated to such a degree as to shock the conscience of any decent, law-abiding person.”

I am so excited about this! So much win.... but wait, mustn't get too excited. Ok. I am calm now. Patiently waiting for the next move. Davey in front of a court reporter? On the witness stand???? IN JAIL MAYBE??? OMFing G!!!!!!... No, wait. Calm down. This will turn out like all the others. I will be left unsatisfied. I don't want that to happen any more, but it would be so FREAKING COOL to see Allender get deposed or cross examined about his role as a squirrel buster!!!! OH YEEAHH M'FER!!! YOU ARE GOING DOWN!! ... OK. Must calm down now...

I didn't say there was anything wrong with the women being the bread winner.
Especially men who take care of their families.
But men who stay home and blog and write fail books about continuing the mind fuck of Scientology , I have a slight problem with,

Comal County used to be populated with Texas hippies and Texas shit-kickers. That would make a GREAT jury pool for this trial. I dunno what the populace there is like these days.

  19. As much as I disagree with Marty Rathbun's preying on recent exes who finally have a chance to overcome the LRH mindfuck scam and his disingenuous portrayal and promotion of abusive conman L. Ron Hubbard, I wish Mosey well with her lawsuit.

I hope that one day Mosey realizes she's been a victim of LRH disconnection policies that Marty used to enforce as well as David Miscavige. She's been brutally harassed by Miscavige's goon squad long anough and has substantial evidence to go forward.

  22. It looks like Steve owns a jewelry repair shop in Bellaire, TX. It doesn't have its own website, but it shows up on a couple really clunky local business sites.
From Yalwa, his jewelry shop called "Prowess."

From Manta, "Drug & Alcohol Testing-America in Bellaire, TX is a private company categorized under Jewelry Repairs." Um, okay.

His author website ("Steve Sloat Productions" see post #39 ITT or http://stevesloat.com/about/) says he is writing the same book (The Children Whispered) mentioned in Greg Sloat's lameass author website (http://gregsloat.com/). The Steve Sloat site also says something about establishing a drug and alcohol testing company for the aviation industry, working for something called F.I.S.T., racing cars, and excavating shipwrecks.

This website is not him. This is an actual author with the same name. Not the same guy.
The other stuff is him, this is not.

No isbn listing for him. But I guess if he starts but doesn't finish (and so gets no author credits) that would explain that. But what it won't explain is some purported publishing house putting him up someplace. Most publishing houses these days won't even offer a $ advance of any kind unless you've got a track record. --- Did I get that part wrong? Didn't I read that his stay on that property is courtesy of his publisher?

Whatev. I smell fish. Clams, to be precise.

  29. Wait, so Ray Jeffrey is wrong? I have confusion now, because this is what he says on Tony's blog:
“Some publishing company is not finding a property like that in Texas for one of its writers,” he says. “We looked into it, and he’s actually Steven Gregory Sloat. He has published some kind of Tom Clancy-style thriller. But he told Marty that he hadn’t published anything in his name and said he was a ‘packager,’ someone who started a project and then turned it over for more famous names to finish.”

He is listed as Greg Sloat Publishing. He is his own publisher. He isn't a writer, doesn't have a publisher and from what I guess is a hired hand by CoS.
