TOMKAT PROJECT IN LOS ANGELES: Here’s Your Chance to Help the Show Get to Tinseltown

    By Tony Ortega

One of the highlights of this eventful year was our August night in the Village to see the TomKat Project with a group of Bunker regulars.

We’d been looking forward to seeing Brandon Ogborn’s play about celebrity and Scientology since it opened in Chicago for a very successful run. And after we got to see the hilarious comedy, we heard from a lot of readers who wanted to know — when is the show coming to Los Angeles?

It’s a natural for LA, which is all about both celebrity and L. Ron Hubbard’s cabal. And now, you can help send Brandon and his troupe to the iO West Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, just steps from one of Scientology’s most important landmarks — the Hollywood Guaranty Building!

The HGB Building houses the L. Ron Hubbard Life Exhibition on the ground floor, and the upstairs offices have been the site of some pretty amazing Scientology history — including Jenna Miscavige Hill’s thought of tossing herself out a window!

Anyway, TomKat Project producer Dein Sofley has secured November 15 (8 pm), November 16, (8 pm), and November 17 (7 pm) for shows at the iO West. But in order to get the cast to the venue, they need some help!

Yesterday, Sofley set up a Kickstarter campaign with the modest goal of $15,000 — and raised ten percent of it the first night.

Just read a book by a gay publishing house called 'Hollywood Babylon 3'. It's mostly a compendium of old timey stars who might have been gay (among other preferences) but there is a chapter on Cruise. Written about mid-way into the Holmes marriage, they are quite lulzy in practically adopting 'hetrosexual' as Cruise's first name and pointedly spelling out the lawsuits which have led to their decision to always refer to Cruise as 'hetrosexual'. They also have a short but very tasty overview of Hubbard and scientology, a long list of quotes by people who wouldn't touch Cruise with a ten foot pole, and of course, speculation on his cock size and whether it actually works (which no one has ever said it did, opposed to say, Cary Grant's lovers).

It is a masterpiece of entendre and veiled speak. I found it through a movie download site and the file type doesn't allow me to copy it on the fly. Worth checking out for a larf and a few tidbits that I haven't seen elsewhere.

    Hollywood babylon 3 (unauthorized sequel)
You'll have to run the mouse over to see the details, sorry I copypasta'd the info straight from the site and I can't manipulate the text now.

I wasn't aware Anger had done a third one. I'll have to keep an eye out.

Scientologist Brad Halsey slams Tom Cruise and David Miscavige | Wire Service Media

    By David Love

A video posted last night with Brad Halsey slamming Tom Cruise and David Miscavige, titled 'Message to Tom Cruise - Please Forward', claims David Miscavige is lying to Scientologists in so-called 'good standing'.

In a Skype interview tonight between David Love in Montreal, and Brad Halsey in Tampa Bay, Florida, Halsey claims "David Miscavige has ruined thousands of lives and Tom Cruise is living in a fog."

Halsey says he's still a Scientologist, but is against the corporate structure under the dictatorship of David Miscavige.

When asked "why he went after Tom Cruise", Halsey replied: "After everything Tom Cruise had with Katie Holmes and his cute little daughter, Suri, just think what that guy [Tom Cruise] lost. In the video, I mention that Miscavige is a life wrecker … he ruined Tom Cruise's life, and I don't even think Tom Cruise knows. He's probably spinning around in a 'London-Fog' – not knowing Miscavige ruined his life."

Dodgers Fans Boo Tom Cruise, Go Crazy for Bryan Cranston at NLCS Game 4 | Bleacher Report

Say what you want about Dodgers fans, but they know quality entertainment when they see it.

This much was proved during Game 4 of the NLCS on Tuesday night, when Dodgers fans went from booing Hollywood mega-star Tom Cruise to cheering wildly for Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston.

It all began with the panning of the ballpark’s celebrity cam, which settled on Cruise, who was relaxing up in a suite on the fifth floor. The sight of Cruise on the scoreboard provoked a lusty booing from the crowd, according to Ted Berg of

Tom Cruise shown on #Dodgers Stadium scoreboard, and is booed.
    — Bob Nightengale (@BNightengale) October 16, 2013

Yep, the maverick-turned-scientologist got zero love. Even better (or worse, if you’re a Cruise fan), the stadium DJ allegedly started spinning “I Wish” by Skee-Lo when the camera found Cruise.

Crowd jeers Tom Cruise on video board. "Wish I was a little bit taller" is played while he is shown.

    @JesseSanchezMLB That's a Skee Lo Blow. #Rally
    — Jose Martinez (@JMartinezNYC) October 16, 2013

Fortunately for viewers, the bad vibes quickly turned into an uproar of elation as the camera moved on found Bryan Cranston, aka “Walter White” from the hit show Breaking Bad in the crowd.

not Connors fault that his Dad had him brainwashed at an early age.
Hopefully he will feel the difference (shame of being in COS) of not being under the COS "bubble" where he is constantly love bombed and hopefully some day realize that scientology is just not cool.

The evolution of the commenter community on CB has been quite something. At the time of Katie's Great Escape (when I started paying attention over there) the comments were pretty evenly divided, and typically uninformed about scientology - despite one of the writers there having family in and so really understanding the situation. It didn't take long for them to catch on and now there are very few TC apologists, and the "all religions are weird" peeps are a decided minority. They really get it. LRH was right that celebrities influence people. Unfortunately for the scilons, that goes both ways!

Katie Holmes Walks Suri Cruise To Her New York School WITHOUT Bodyguards | RumorFix

There was a time when Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise were surrounded by a battery of Scientology bodyguards following their every move. But life after Tom Cruise is very different for the 34-year-old actress and her famous 7-year-old daughter.

Following their blockbuster 2012 divorce Katie now sometimes walks Suri from her Big Apple Chelsea apartment to her nearby $40K per year private school WITHOUT armed guards.

An insider told RumorFix: “It would have been unthinkable for Katie to escort Suri to school without several bodyguards in tow when she was married to Tom Cruise. But now the two of them regularly go on the less than one mile trip together and they seem totally relaxed and happy. Even although Suri is a very privileged little girl Katie seems to be trying to give her daughter a more normal life.”

besides the fact that Cruise is now an irrelevant tool in la la land, it is amazing that a REPORTER does not know why people are booing him.
I mean besides ALL the rest that Cruise has done that anti sci people know about, does he not remember Cruise's fight with Matt Lauer and the couch jumping? He never saw the Sci vid?
Never heard ANYTHING about their divorce and why?

'TomKat' Play Meets Kickstarter Goal, Will Stage in Scientology's Back Yard | The Hollywood Reporter

The project about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes earned $15,000 and will run at Hollywood's iO West Theater, which producer Dein Sofley notes is just "338 feet from a Church of Scientology building."

Says Sofley, "Our biggest concern is that the church might catch wind of [the production] and purchase all of the tickets so that there would be no seats."

Who needs Tom Cruise? Scientology gal speaks out | New York Post

By Kate Storey, October 23, 2013

Marc Headley had just released his explosive book about the deepest, darkest secrets of Scientology, “Blown for Good: Behind the Iron Curtain of Scientology,” when he met actress Nazanin Boniadi on Feb. 19, 2010.

He was at a wedding party in LA with a group of other ex-Scientologists when a beautiful brunette approached him, wanting to know more about Chapter 28 of his book — the one that detailed the casting process of finding Scientology poster boy Tom Cruise a girlfriend.

Headley had worked for 15 years for Scientology’s LA production company, Golden Era Productions, where he saw a handful of short audition tapes — young, gorgeous women answering questions about their devotion to Scientology and their feelings about Cruise — in late 2004.

“This girl wants to know all about thse audition tapes,” Headley tells The Post. “She’s like, ‘When did this take place?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, November, December 2004.’

“She starts crying, gets up and runs out of the room. She was going out with Tom Cruise in December of 2004 — we were still auditioning girls then. That was Naz. That was the first time I ever met Naz.”

Boniadi, a former Scientologist, has never spoken publicly about her relationship with Cruise and, since that bombshell article, she’s kept a low profile — a “CSI” guest spot here, a “Grey’s Anatomy” cameo there.

But this fall she has suddenly emerged as a talked-about character in “Homeland,” one of the season’s hottest shows, forcing her back into the limelight.

When asked by The Post about her ensuing notoriety, and whether she’d prefer to be known for something else, Boniadi says with a laugh, “Yes, please — my work!”

Though Boniadi confirmed to The Post that she is no longer a Scientology member, she refused to speak further on the topic: “I’d rather not talk about that. It’s something that I’m not happy to . . . Like I said, I have so many positive things happening in my life, it’s a shame not to talk about that.”

Tom Cruise Ex Reveals Still More Shocking Scientology Secrets | The Stir

    By Jacqueline Burt

    Here's how the article ends:

"...That was the first time I ever met Naz ... Based on her reaction, she was in love with the dude.”

Ouch. That must've stung -- though probably not as bad as when Cruise reportedly enlisted a third party to dump Boniadi because she was neither "affectionate" nor "famous" enough (Scientology big shot David Miscavige reportedly didn't care for her very much, either). And I bet the breakup was nowhere near as degrading as the "punishment" Boniadi allegedly received for telling a pal about the relationship's demise (and thusly breaking a signed confidentiality agreement): She was (again, allegedly) forced to clean bathrooms with acid (?!) and dig ditches in the middle of the night.

YIKES. Between Leah Remini's very unflattering Scientology testimonial, the now infamous Katie Holmes departure, and this new book, Scientology could be in serious trouble.

PS: If I mysteriously "disappear" after this post is published, don't be surprised.

Thanks to Bunker Readers — The TomKat Project in LA!

    By Tony Ortega

It came down to the wire, but the goal was reached and in November The TomKat Project will be playing at a theater, iO West, just steps away from one of Scientology’s most important facilities on Hollywood Bouldevard. Spooky!

Here are the dates: Friday, November 15 (8 pm); Saturday, November 16 (8 pm); and Sunday, November 17 (7 pm).

Grab your tickets fast before they disappear. At $15 each, they’re a steal.

Dein Sofley sent us these words for readers of the Bunker, who helped make this happen: “We couldn’t have come this far without you.”

This guy is such an asshole. I keep thinking about how Mimi said basically that Tom didn't put out enough. And then there was the time Good Wife Katie went off-script and hinted she needed more action. And his first agent who talked about him walking around in his tighty whities looking at himself. He is so in love with himself he could not imagine the feelings of anyone else. We talk a lot about DM being a sociopath...not the only one. Spot on, Christian Bale!
  37. He sounds like a richer, more famous version of the publics on Black Rob's thread. He has a laundry lists of traits he requires in a mate- only his includes red carpetable as well as apparently, filed teeth. The result is very narcissistic. The person who fits this bill is going to compliment him, never mind their mind, hopes and dreams. Now to be fair, Tom can actually get a date, unlike most scientologists, because there is a pool of younger women out there who grew up watching his movies who can manage to be star struck for varying periods of time. The average scilon does not appear to be quite as successful...and even Tom isn't in the end. He cannot leave love to chance, and in the end 'true love' is a really dicey prospect, most likely to emerge only when both parties have realistic and generous feelings toward their partners. And don't put ethics in on them or sec-check 'em.

The only long-term (and ongoing) relationships established in sci (that I can tell from out here) were marriages where both people originally met organically IRL and later blew the popsicle stand together.
