Tustin Anybody? I attended a few raids back in 08 and had a GREAT time at the Tustin ORG. Anything planned for there for 2011, or is it too 'dead' now? LA would be fun, but i hate the drive - I'm spoiled living in the Greater OC area.

Re: Tustin Anybody? I'd invite the Tustin raiders to a housewarming party for Upland Mission's new digs, (yes, they relocated to a much worse address) but I don't think they're even open weekends. Will keep you posted if they develop weekend hours.

I've actually been there before. It's sort of near Foothill Ranch. It's in the middle of an industrial park, and there's not much going on. I don't think it would be a good place to raid, because it's in a parking lot, with no foot traffic or car traffic.

That must the (south coast) mission that refused to die. It moved a couple of times, last in enterprise drive, in the line of sight across the field from the current location. I suspect that they don't pay rent until they are kicked out. Otherwise, moving from an office park into a dead end industrial park isn't a good sign.
Dang it, you're right, I was at the Enterprise Drive location, not this one. So, yeah, it sounds like a step down.

I had an interesting experience once when raiding Tustin - I parked up the street from the ORG on a side street. As expected, ACROSS the street (irvine blvd) was a $cilon with a camera - but what I didnt expect was - the house I parked my car in front of had a few teenage asian girls with cameras waiting for me. At first, I figured they were just giggling bc of the V mask or whatever - but then they photographed my cars license plate - etc. Anybody ever had an experience like this? I found it interesting...to say the least. That was my first time raiding, in 07 or 08 I think. Needless to say, I park further away or take a taxi now - but I found this 'method' interesting...

I can't do next Saturday (the 29th). Also, that would be a good day for LA, because I think it's some event (FLAG?, IAS? I forget). Anyway, CAN ANYONE DO A PROTEST FOR 1 HOUR TOMORROW? Saturday the 15th? I can do 11-12, then I gotta go. I found out that Luis Garcia, the OT8 who left the church, was a very respected person in Tustin, and it's a big deal that he's gone.
I can't tomorrow i'd love to though i'm sorry we can try to schedule one in Feb perhaps? Hopefully somebody else is game for tomorrow...i wish I could sorry

Very cool. No theme dressing required, unless you feel like coming as a pirate or something. If you want to wear a mask, I think I have one. I'll try to find my ipod speaker, and I have lots of signs.
