on a HuffPo article http://www.huffingtonpost.com/social/John_Carmichael/scientology-secrets_b_891483_103518674.html its like a 'bad chain' mail they pass around...its the same drivel over and over....
I don't have a huffpo account, but I sincerely hope someone makes sure to post the video of the good Rev's olfactory expertise as a response to this
Ah yes, the right reverend John Carmichael, known for his OT sense of smell. He will always be famous for the below video and his classic line found at 5:35 into the video. And that is the only thing for which he will be famous. How anyone can take this guy seriously after that boggles the mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbZh5sejqHw&feature=player_embedded

I haven't seen that letter before. It's damning. Also, it contains what HAS to be one of the best lines Hubbard HAS ever written: "I didn't go to all the work I went to on HAS and other things to forget that my own revenue has to be a lot better than it has been in the past." Has much? Freaking learn how to write man. He mentions a week's intensive of auditing costs $850. That's over $7000 inflated to today's dollar.
It's not like he ever changes. Church Of Scientology Hits Critics Where They Live December 28, 1997, David O'Reilly, Knight-Ridder, Seattle Times
from the book: There they reviewed the caretakers' logs of Lisa's seventeen days at the Fort Harrison. The logs painted a devastating portrait—particularly those written during Lisa's final two days. One log contained a caretaker's recommendation that Lisa be taken to a doctor. It was a recommendation that Rathbun knew had been ignored until the very last minutes of her life. "If it isn't written, it isn't true," L. Ron Hubbard had always told his followers. Rathbun gathered the three or four most incriminating logs. "Lose 'em," he said to an aide. Then he walked out of the room.*
VV followup w/ Janet from Tony Janet Reitman's Inside Scientology: 'The Print Reviews Have Been Really Positive'
I know what HAS is. You don't think that's a stupid sentence? I mean if you are going to abbreviate everything, at least have the decency to not repeatedly use short common words that are spelled the same as your abbreviations. /rant
Sorry, I got the distinct impression that you didn't get how HAS was used in the context of the sentence; I don't see it's noteworthy otherwise. He's writing for an audience of one, not a book, and it's not difficult to understand what he's talking about.
Estranged scientology PR drama queen, Karin Pouw writes to the Winipeg Free Press about the above article: Letter of the Day: Warped view of Scientology Winipeg Free Press, Letters to the Editor. 25th August 2011 http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/op...tor/warped-view-of-scientology-128371183.html Same old bullshit: blah blah she never spoke to us, blah blah apostates, blah blah ignores our accomplishments blah blah. Ironically, the article has a picture of the "super power" building which just yesterday was the subject of a whopping $413,500 fine by the Clearwater Municipal Code Enforcement Board. 'Yeah that's quite some accomplishment. In the history of code enforcement in Clearwater the board agreed that it was a unique case. So there, scientology, you were treated exactly was you wanted to be: as a special case. Specially bad. Article comments are open. Pouw! Pouw! Pouw!

There are only 7 pro scientology books in scientology's own subcategory for the 20 best sellers. On average the best they achieve is to fill about half of the top 20. Janet Reitman's books seems likely to be pegged in the top spots and stands to pwn scientology's amazon domain for a very long time. We run this. Go read a book.
