    From Justice For Kyle Brennan:

The God Discussion Show has announced that Victoria Britton – whose son Kyle Brennan died in Clearwater, Florida, the Scientology Mecca, under very suspicious circumstances while visiting his Scientologist father -- will be the featured guest for the program’s two-hour Friday, February 15 live podcast.

Speaking publicly for the first time, Victoria will share with radio host Deborah Beeksma her 20-year-old son's story: what he was like growing up; how Kyle, a non-Scientologist, felt about the Church of Scientology; and how he became a victim of the church's dictatorial "handling" mandate and its well-known war against psychiatry and psychotropic medications.

Victoria will also talk about Narconon, the Scientology-run facility that bills itself as a legitimate drug rehabilitation center. Victoria's segment will last one hour.

During the show's second hour, ex-Scientologist Lance Marcor will discuss "handling" and "disconnection", two of Scientology's most injurious policies; Dr. Stephen Wiseman will talk about the church from a psychiatrist's point of view; and David Love will talk about Narconon - how the facility treats illegal drugs and medically approved medications as being one in the same, and post traumatic stress reported by participants in the Narconon program.

The Friday, February 15 show will air at 6pm Pacific/7pm Mountain/8 pm Central/9 pm Eastern/times, and 2am GMT. The show can be accessed through the God Discussion Show page. A podcast will be posted at the site after the broadcast.

Dr. Stephen Wiseman is a psychiatrist and the medical director of the Complex Pain Centre at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, Canada. He has researched and presented on Scientology's relationship with psychiatry for many years, conducting workshops at both the American and Canadian Psychiatric Association annual conferences.

Dr. Wiseman is a proponent of evidence-based medicine, and believes that the fear and mis-information presented by Scientology about psychiatry over the years has perpetuated the stigma against patients and their families and has been very destructive to the cause of rational mental health treatment for all who require it.

David Love, who was born on the West Coast of British Columbia, now resides in the Montreal area. David formed a charitable organization in 1990 and was the director of a rehabilitation center for substance abuse.

David was both a patient and a staffer at the Narconon facility in the province of Quebec and is completing a book on his experience there. He has appeared on several God Discussion shows.
Lance Marcor joined Scientology’s “Sea Org”, the unit comprising the church’s most dedicated members, in 1978. Two years later, after arriving at “Flag Land Base”, the Fort Harrison Hotel in Clearwater, Florida, Scientology’s spiritual headquarters,

Lance was fully trained in the church’s “ethics policy”, a bedrock principle of founder L. Ron Hubbard’s teachings, and put in charge of 300 staff members’ “ethics.” Lance left the church in 2007, and he is uniquely qualified as a former Scientology insider to speak about the organization’s inner workings and little-understood doctrine, policies, and procedures.

Kyle Brennan was born April 2, 1986, and died on February 16, 2007. He was a talented artist and prolific writer of short stories.

Though he was only twenty at the time of his death and a sophomore in college, he was a man of international connections.

His maternal grandmother is from Montreal. His step-grandmother is from Argentina and lives in Buenos Aires. The Brittons' plans to take to him to visit her were cut short by his death.

Kyle's father's family were Irish-American Catholics. Kyle dreamed of visiting Ireland with his oldest brother Scott and then returning to open a restaurant in their home town.

Kyle spent a good deal of time visiting Berlin and other cities in Germany since his older brother Sean was stationed with the US military there. A visit Kyle made to the great church of St. Michael in Bamberg left a profound impression on him and strengthened his resolve to fight against evil.

God Discussion is a site “for believers who don’t go to church.” The views expressed on the site are not expressly denominational. It honors points of view from many traditions in discussion about God and how beliefs impact families, government, and culture.

    From the God Discussion site:
Victoria Britton, who lost her son to Scientology

Victoria Britton, the mother of 20-year-old Kyle Brennan, who lost her son to Scientology six years ago when he was found dead under highly suspicious circumstances in Clearwater, Florida, the Mecca of Scientology, will be our guest on the GodDiscussion show with Al and Deborah. The show begins at 6 PM PACIFIC / 10 PM EASTERN.

Last year on the fifth anniversary of Kyle's death we interviewed lawyer Luke Lirot, who represented the Britton family in the wrongful death suit they brought against Scientology and Scientologists including Denise Miscavige Gentile (pronounced Gen-tee-lay), the twin sister of Scientology leader David Miscavige.

Victoria's lawsuit was dismissed on appeal in September, and she is now free to tell her story to the world. The death of Kyle Brennan is a great and so far little-known Scientology case. Those who have heard Victoria tell her story privately have described her as spell-binding. It is a story every mother in America needs to hear about the very serious threat Scientology poses to families.

Anons in Montreal have posted an announcment in French:

    http://anonymousmontreal.blogspot.ca/2013/02/justice-pour-kyle-brennan.html

I just love French. Kyle would have appreciated this since his grandmother is from Montreal.

The show is scheduled for two hours. However, they continue on into a third hour when there is much to discuss as will surely be the case with the show on Kyle.

Dr. Wiseman and David Love are well known to anons, exes, and critics. I am really looking forward to hearing Lance Marcor. He was a Flag exec for 18 years and knows the auditors, case supervisors, and OSAbots involved in handling Kyle.

He submitted the Second Declaration of Lance Marcor in Kyle's case. He lays out all the policies and procedures in play in handling Kyle, and shows that OSA withheld and fabricated documents for the court. (!!!)

AFAIK Lance doesn't post on the usual forums. He did a radio show with Tom Smith a couple of years ago but that seems to have disappeared from the internets.

Here's a chronology for peeps who are coming to this for the first time:

    1. Jan 2006 - Kyle is diagnosed as a mild depressive and given Lexapro. He does fine.
    2. Jun 2006 - His father Tom Brennan discovers Kyle is seeing a psych. This makes Kyle SP material and Brennan PTS and he must handle Kyle, particularly because his auditor is Denise Miscavige.
    3. Aug 2006 - Brennan lures Kyle to CW to handle him. Kyle resists and Brennan threatens him with violence.
    4. Late Nov 2006 - Kyle leaves home for a two month trip to visit schools in Iowa and relatives in CA.
    5. February 7, 2007 - Kyle arrives in CW to visit his father on his way home to Charlottesville, VA. Brennan starts in on handling, Kyle resists.
    6. Sunday, February 11: Denise Miscavige attempts to convince Victoria in Narconon Arrowhead in OK. If Kyle goes there his handling is complete. Victoria refuses.
    7. Tuesday, February 13: Brennan discovers Kyle is calling the FBI. Kyle refuses to tell him why. (He is calling to get them to investigate Brennan's crimes of embezzlement from a family business and arson he probably committed to cover them up in 2000).
8: Thursday, February 15: Stats are due at 2:00 pm. Brennan must handle Kyle so he seizes his medication and locks them in the trunk of his car. That afternoon Kyle goes to a bank to make a deposit to keep his account at home open. Clearly he is not suicidal. He is making plans to return home.

On Thursday morning Brennan apparently receives an ethics order to move Kyle out of the apartment and tells Victoria he must leave. She protests, he backs down, and Kyle stays there Thursday night and Friday night.

    9. Friday, February 16: Brennan goes out to have dinner with friends (though he says he went to the Florida State Fair in Tampa to sell cult books, which he had been doing every evening during Kyle's visit).

At 10:25 Kyle places calls to three personal injury attorneys.
At 10:30 Brennan returns home as he told his son Scott the day after Kyle's death (though police appear to assume he came home shortly before midnight and immediately called 911 after discovering Kyle dead. In depostions three and a half years later he says he came home at 11)
It is estimated that Kyle was shot in the head at 11. Brennan calls Denise Miscavige shortly before midnight and then calls 911.

    10. Saturday, Feb 17: 0010 police arrive. 20-30 mins later medical examiner and forensic technician arrive. Denise Miscavige's husband show up very soon. He takes Brennan to his home after police are finished.

Police did not find Kyle's laptop. Brennan said he had it. Most likely OSA had it. It was accessed at 2-3 am for the first time and about five times the following week. It is returned to the Britton family ten days later, and all documents have been deleted.

It is important to understand that Brennan was under pressure to handle Kyle and get him off psych meds eight months before.

As soon as Brennan discovered Kyle was in the care of a psychiatrist in June 2006 he moved to handle him. He deceived him into coming to CW for the sole purpose of handling him. Kyle resisted and Brennan threatened him with violence.

The handling resumed immediately when Kyle visited Brennan in February 2007. The ethics order issued on Thursday, the day before Kyle's death is strange and may be a fabrication. Seven of its eight lines are redacted. The only one visible says, "Move your son out to where he can get handled."

Brennan called Victoria to say Kyle had to leave, and she protested. He backed down and nothing more is heard of this demand. Kyle slept in the apartment on Thursday and was clearly going to sleep there Friday night.
