Michael thank you so much for this insightful thread.

I was also reading about The Lost Person Assist on OCMB and was wondering where that fit into the series of steps you outlined in OP?

I'm guessing that procedure would either be immediate reaction they parents would undergo right away (before your step 0) or buried in the Ethics handling process you explained?

    Read this:

Apparently the answer to, "Is it safe?" is a resounding NO!

I do enjoy no longer being a cultie.
I never needed auditing since I left as it was such a relief to get out of that can of worms.
I sure hope JT gets a clue very soon.

I really hope the question of adequate medication gets looked into.
If Jett was being given proper care wouldn't there be prescription records somewhere?

    exot8michael,

When you were an OT, did you ever see flashes of light or colors in your head when you "exteriorized?" that resemble your artwork?

Your artwork is very impressive by the way. My favorite is RACHMANINOV PRELUDE (the piano one).

i don't have time to read through the thread (sorry) but i just have a quick question - because john travolta and his wife are Famous Scientologists - will they be treated differently?

michael here says all these things will happen, but isn't that to Joe Scientologist rather than the Celeb Famous People Scientologists?

although i would love for them to now be treated like shit so they think hmmmmm this scientology crap is a bit on the wtf side of things. Sorry if someone already asked, its just really been on my mind.

I am doing nothing outside of expressing criticism over the Scientology diagnosis of Kawasaki's Disease, illegal medical advisement to get off from Rx meds, and a reasonable amount of sympathy. The partyvan authorities are on this, and amateur hour is over. I will just kick back, and wait for the autopsy to come in to drop my "I told you so" to the scilons who encouraged his mistreatment.

LOl, no exteriorizing flashes of light. I just listened to music and visualized it, as I had been doing already before Scientology membership.

Thx 4 the art compliment. I am proud of my art legacy.

The Travoltas will probably get good treatment, with shiploads of sympathy and condolences from fellow Scientologists. Staff will be courteous but not effusive, as usual.
The only huge difference between the treatment of Joe Scientologist and JT/TC/ Jada Smith etc is that the celebs have a personal handler to see them through all the process except when money is involved and then they go the usual sharks.

    Michael,

Would anyone try to put JT or KP in some kind of TR style "therapy" to keep them from picking up engrams or what ever they are called ? Or Auditing trying to get them to relive the experience ? Also if not this soon when if at all?
  13. exOT8Michael Member

Re: What Scientology will probably do about the tragic death of Jett Travolta.

If any auditing was to be done on the loss, which is extremely likely it would not be Dianetics or TRs.
JT/KP are at least on OT7 or thereabouts and so would get auditing on upsets, problems and secrets as well as clearing off body thetans connected with the incident that has occurred.

If by some chance the spirit (thetan, not body thetan) formerly known as Jett is still clinging on to the family (hanging around, and this is more likely than you might think) he would get a telepathic auditing session from JT or KP to go off and get a new body. This would all be done rather "clinically" and without undue emotional content if indeed it occurs at all.

Hey, you asked so I am telling you.

I didn't make this stuff up, Hubbard did.

How quickly would that happen ? They like to rush to the scene after national disasters. I would think it would mess with a more traditional grieving process.

I seriously must consider taking up smoking opium if we're going to go any further with this fucking discussion. I mean c'mon nao!! therapists do talk therapy, sometimes telling clients to even do it with / to imaginary friends, but they don't hook up and calibrate the cans and we call "imaginary thinking, imaginary thinking" not "communicating telepathically with my dead son's thetan."

/me tries to find opium dealer in yellow pages then realizes she doesn't live in China.

    LOL good one.
I was not smoking anything to write that, however, and it is what would most likely occur for realz. Ask other OGs if you don't believe it.

maybe they can do a 53 on all their prior auditing next?

hey JT & KP run this c/s approved sec check.

    Regarding Jett;

    "have you ignored a reality?"
    "have you ignored an affinity?'
    "have you ignored a communication?"
    "have you committed an overt?"
    "do your bt's enjoy caek?"
"how many withholds have been missed?"
"have you failed to disclose anything?"
"anything else the authorities should know about the death?"

    Michael-

I remember that when Princess Diana died, John Travolta went on TV offering to help Prince Charles and her sons through their grieving process. I don't remember him mentioning COS, but I do remembering him saying that he had learned "tools" that could help them deal with their loss. That he would be willing to share the tools that he had found to be very effective in his own life.

I always understood that to be scientology related, but what would they be, and how will they help him now?

No disrespect to John Travolta intended.
I do believe that at the time, he felt that he had all the answers and could be of help.

Please help us understand what he wanted to offer to the royal family.
  21. exOT8Michael Member

Re: What Scientology will probably do about the tragic death of Jett Travolta.

He would very likely have been offering Scientology-Hubbard auditing procedures, particularly Dianetics where losses are dealt with by repetitive re-scanning of the loss incidents. Of course, if they had accepted the Royal Family would have had to follow normal Scientology procedures and become devoted members for life.

New public (non OTs) can receive Dianetics but OTs can not due to the body thetan claim of Hubbard and the very strange OT3 story with Xenu the evil galactic overlord.

If this is the case, then THIS scenario would be very exploitable. Co$ taking advantage of a tragedy to their own benefit.....It does not get too much lower than that.

They (Sea Org) will be pretending to be actually caring while looking for any and all advantage, particularly financial. Don't forget the staff are under weekly threat of RPF for down statistics. The numbers MUST MUST MUST go up every week or face DM's wrath. A rich Celeb couple in deep trouble are rich pickings and they will manipulate it for big gold.

Hey does anyone know if the kid was pull'n it and that's how hits head? I know it's screwed up but was just asked that on an email as apparently the "slow" ones are always in the bathroom too long playing with themselves? Maybe the autopsy will show something.

    General Notice
For anyone visiting from outside or anyone who is a new member to WWP. Welcome to Project Chanology - the fight to take down the cult of Scientology. This site is one of many out there working towards that goal (I recommend whyweprotest.net and theprotest.net for more info).

Please lurk around the forums before posting too much. The culture here is fairly unique and it's likely you won't have experienced how Anonymous behaves online before. Don't be offended by what you see and read, the culture of Anonymous is to question everything and to attack most things. The harshest environment produces the toughest organisms, right? Except that instead of amoebae we're cultivating ideas.

    Michael,

I have asked this of another Ex-Scientologist before but was told it was a long story... What is the thought in Scientology about the connection between Parents and children when it comes to past lives etc...?

Are they considered just one of 1000's of children from 1 of a BILLION lifetimes ??

And is this type of thinking used to explain away the disconnection policy of family members ?

Glad to find a site like this!! Too bad it is due to the death of an innocent human being. But glad you all are here!!

What prompted me to sign up was when I read CO$ has a tax-exempt status!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?!!!!

Now, that's a thought hit them where it counts and have that tax-exempt status yanked. Wouldn't that just burn their demented black mailing ways. :D

Re: What Scientology will probably do about the tragic death of Jett Travolta.

    Hard questions. Yowww.

The question of past life connections is considered pretty random and only comes up in individual sessions and is usually (not always) NOT spoken about with the family members.

No, this is not normally part of disconnection policy unless session data is unmistakable that the family members currently exhibit an open hostility to Scientology itself or to general self-improvement for the person taking the sessions.

If a family member is antagonistic to Scientology in the present lifetime that determines the disconnection. If a family member was an enemy or murderer of the past life identity of the Scientologist that would be reason for more sessions, not disconnection.

NOTE: If a family member wants to get another OUT of the cult the fastest way is for the outside family member to sue Scientology in Court for some reason that is reasonable or valid. If this occurs then the Scientologist whose family is suing has to leave the cult until the matter is dealt with or if they get salvaged and go back to a normal non cult life.

Sue the cult and the cult-indoctrinated family member can pop out like bread from a toaster. They may very well not love you for it however (understatement).

I have seen it happen and with exit counseling the family was restored.

Re: What Scientology will probably do about the tragic death of Jett Travolta.

    Nice to see you here.
The tax exempt status was forced into being, probably illegally so it would be appropriate to get it yanked.

When criminals are allowed to hide behind "religious" cloaks they can harm more broadly as they are protected.

Anyway, it would be great if the Travolta family could be woken up out of the cult mentality and have a better life with fewer unworkable or dangerous beliefs.

Jett Crashes Scientology: Making Mileage From John Travolta’s Loss | Anorak News

JOHN Travolta’s son Jett Travolta is dead, and the Daily Mirror announces in a bold headline:

    “TRAVOLTA SON HAD ‘DEATH–LIKE ‘SEIZURES’.”

He might well have had them right before he died in a Bahamas hotel. And Anorak readers may wonder if you can have a seizure once you are dead?

Of course, this story is not about Jett Travolta, who was famous in life for being named as an aeroplane. The story is one of celebrity. And the Mirror ends its piece on the death of a teenager is never knew with:

Stars who have comforted Travolta and his wife with messages and phone calls include fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise.”

    And in the Sun:

Oprah Winfrey was due to arrive in the Bahamas…to comfort the couple. Tom Cruise, a fellow Scientologist… plans to visit the family.”

Tom Cruise… Scientology… A link? The Gawker website speculates:

Whatever the cause of his seizures, a Travolta family lawyer now says Jett had been taking Depakote, an anti-seizure medication, but had to stop it because of liver damage. Liver damage from Depakote is rare; more recently, the FDA has been concerned about its link to suicidal thoughts — exactly the kind of condition Scientologists they believe they can treat through the religious coursework they call “auditing.”

Owen Thomas then engages a line of truly awesome crassness and insensitivity:

“…the accusation will linger that they privileged their adherence to Scientology over their devotion to their son.”

Thomas resists the chance to headline his piece “Jett Crashes”, instead using:

Time to Audit Scientology’s Anti-Medicine Stance

And time to eke the gravy of sensation from a dead teenager…

The cult has no conscience whatsoever, just when you thought you've seen the worst, it looks like it will exploit ANY situation for gain- it's like some kind of zombie that must eat brains in order to survive. I can only hope that the Travolter's cognitive dissonance will crash and they will wake up and turn against the cult. I imagine that the processes they will pay through the nose for, simply bury the pain very deep for it to keep rising to the surface costing yet more money yet repeatedly feeling worse.

The phobia of "psychs" is a hideous piece of manipulation to keep culties permanently dependent on the cult.

The only good to come out of this is that $cientologists and $cientology will stay with media attention, and, by default and design, so will we.
