Whatever happened to 'always attack, never defend?'

Scientology has abandoned their doctrine. They know that going on the offensive now would lose them the war, and so they're rejecting Hubbard just to stay alive. How does that work?

I think blowback is the proper scilon term for backlash.

    Yeah karma is a bitch.

They know they're losing ground. Now is when WE must attack. Gentlemen, make your letters as eloquent as possible, and when it comes to the 17th, protest the FUCK out of the cult.

    Yep.
    They are defending.
They are also saying that they seek medical treatment for physical problems.
They are back-peddeling, retreating, rewriting, rerouting, rethinking and regrouping.
Anyone here who wanted to "reform" the CoS is finished; you can go home now.
Of course, the real fun is just starting.

The new revised Squirrel tech is:

This is normally not my character, but given the circumstances; are you thinking what I am thinking? Kick'em while they're down!?! Make it impossible for them to get back up?

well, someone in the cult probably decided the best way was to just lie and wait until it blows over. The vast majority of the US has short term memory when it comes to stuff like this. Hopefully news shows will start interviewing people who used to be in Scientology in order to expose how full of shit they are.

Somehow, I don't think that's going to work.

When you sit and wait for things to "Just blow over" it's like a storm that "Just blows over" and kicks your ass in the process!

The old Army mantra was "Hit 'em hard -- Hit 'em again"!

I love Army vs. Navy games LOL

That said -- I suspect that this "talking points" PR initiative is intended to insulate the Happy Fun Cult from the Travoltas when the Negligent Homicide charges are made public. IOW, $cientology's going to throw them under the bus.

My read on the situation: $cientology is scared shitless over this one.

If anything there needs to be an offensive movement now from as many different fronts as possibile, with as much pressure as can be brought to bear. Keep them from achieving any kind of stability. Keep them unbalanced. Not knowing when or where they'll hav to deal with Anonymous next. Anons should be jumping out of the woodwork, so to speak. Heh, in the Air Force (admittedly we were pussies and therefore learned to fight dirty) they made sure we knew where the kidneys were and told us to "kick until they piss blood." Seems good advice here, if you know what I mean.
