Who wants anontx.com and anonhouston.com? I've owned/operated anontx/anonhouston.com wiki since the first protests. Houston hasn't done shit in years, and I'm not interested in paying for the domains for another year. Who wants to step up and take them off my hands? Otherwise, I'm just going to let them lapse, since I've already spent too much on this shit.

Re: Who wants anontx.com and anonhouston.com? all that warning shit is just that - SHIT! part of the deal between browser makers and the likes of verisign/thwate mean that anyone wishing to use https or ssl without paying one of the club some money - can expect their viewers to be scared off by browser warnings tl:dr= the padlock symbol is not verifying who the certificates' owner is, but the encryption is still working
Re: Who wants anontx.com and anonhouston.com? The SSL cert is also expired. We forced everything to SSL to keep traffic snooping down. I should also say, I'm less interested in hosting it as well. If you already have a cPanel/WHM account or server, it will be very easy to transfer the site as is, otherwise, there are ways to move the wiki pages if you're interested in keeping them and putting them into a new installation. Are you interested in taking over the whole site or just the domain?

I don't have a server or account anywhere so I don't know what i would need to keep it up. Can you help me out in giving me some pointers in this at all?

Re: Who wants anontx.com and anonhouston.com? so i went through and updated the wiki software and cleaned up the account hosting it. i turned off ssl since the cert had expired and it's not like anyone's browsing this at work while working for scilons. moving it to another host is doable, but i don't know if there's time before the domain expires. i suppose i could drop another tenbux into the money hole for another year. if anyone is serious about wanting to carry the flag, let me know
Re: Who wants anontx.com and anonhouston.com? The hosting is covered by someone else who owns the server. Any cheap webhost should be able to host it, plans start from some $6/month at hostgator, and even cheaper at nearlyfreespeech The domains are $10.50 a year each, anonhouston.com and anontx.com

Could you create a blackup of the site, put it into a zip folder, and upload it to a site with public link so we can make sure that little to no files are lost in the process of transferring hosts?
