Which shall it be? 1) What wikileaks has been doing is legal, a form of journalism and needs to be protected as free speech 2) It's good that wikileaks exists 3) Wikileaks does more good than harm 4) Julian Assange is the victim of a campaign, including the accusations in Sweden 5) Julian Assange is the victim of a campaign, not including the accusations in Sweden 6) Bradley Manning should go free 7) The content of the leaks demonstrates [whatever] about US foreign policy One of the problems why I'm a bit reluctant with any of this is that I haven't made up my mind over the implications of all of this yet. Even if you have, you have to be prepared to meet many people like me and many other people who are openly hostile to some of what wikileaks has done, e.g. publishing a list of sensitive targets. That's highly irresponsible, even if it's probably legal.
