Lately i have noticed that a lot of the minimum wage positions want people to apply online, and ask a series of questions that really do not have that much relevance to the job.I see people ask for an application, because the sign outside says ask the manager about the positions, and then told to fill these out online. Not only is it rude, its also a little discriminatory, as if you do not have a computer at home, you would have to go to the library to fill out this information, and this NOT secure. My question, is how hard would it be to write a program that fills out these resumes, a bunch of times, and spams the company with bogus applicants. This would be surprisingly devastating, as if you leave a wrong number on the fake applicants it would cost thousands of dollars for the "victim" company to sift through and see which ones are real or not. IT would also cause them to scrap this method, and go back to paper applications, which are more secure, and not as discriminatory, and are reviewed by local managers.
