Re: WWP Donations drive! alright, now I am getting annoyed...I donated on Sept 1st, $50 for server costs, and $50 for the legal fund. When will the page get updated, or does it bring in more donations to keep it hanging at $0 for extended periods? Not really accusing yet, but it seems to get more and more fishy as time goes on.
Re: WWP Donations drive! I would suggest replacing the current counters with ChipIn counters, so we don't have to update them ourselves. Also, maybe some of the super moderators should be made admins, if there's too much work to do for sue and da5id?

For some reason the graph is still broken, but when you click into the ledger you can now see all of the updated info of what was donated and when. We're actively working on a better system to fix all of this, but I don't want to go into it too much until we actually have something. Thanks for the continued patience and support everyone

Re: WWP Donations drive! i dont know who made that but it looks to be done in 3ds max. even looks like its got a full lighting grid, go look for some game art with the same lighting and youve found your guy . everyone has their own specific light rig, mines a 8 omni light rig, 4 above, 4 below with a cool blue hue light from below with an intensity of 0.1 and a warm cream light from above with the same intensity, 30 degree camera to the left of the model, and a spotlight aimed from the right of the object at 45 degrees. see how specific a light rig is to someone? you never usually make more than 1, so find the same rig and youve found the creator.

Its like folding@home or any of those other distributed computing networks, except gomez peer pays you, not enough to be a millionaire but if we all run a pc daily and we're all lsited under the same network, could prolly pull in a decent sized income for WWP. I heard you get 1.00 for referrals, but for the most part it be better to make monthly income off of people rather than referrals. I heard some ex-ceo of Amazon.com or something was involved with them and they have been around few years and are legit.. anyone wanna look into that a bit more for us i have limited knowledge in that area. Nothing wrong with having the donations thread show up and make people feel guilty for not pitching in lately. It's not like da5id stopped having to eat in the last three years.
None of us gets paid - as the donate button says: All donations are used for funding the cost of running and improving the website. WWP is expensive to operate and has no self-generating revenue, so we rely on your help to keep us online! And agreed - nothing wrong about this thread showing on the forum page
