Do you support the use of anti-Co$ and/or pro Anon Bluejacking?

    Your opinion on Bluejacking

    As suggested in the original thread, let's end the recent circular argument on the subject of Bluejacking. Some see it as annoying and counter-productive spam, others as a potentially useful bit of viral marketing. Evidently it has elements of both depending upon your perspective. The original thread containing details of the tactic and opinions either way is here;

    A google for "bluejacking" couldn't hurt before voting either.

    Intrusive and scary? Or intriguing and educational? You decide.

    Good notion.

    Pragmatic meta-analysis: If more than a very small number of people vote that it's annoying, that suggests that it annoys enough people to be a bad tactic.

    I think that would weight it a little too much against to be honest. But in any case as this stands it's not exactly a ringing endorsement. Ho hum.

    We need to play down the CYBERTERRORIT HACKERS ON STEROIDS deal. Sure, its hilarity content is equally as high as its bullshit content, but it scares people.

    When people think hackers, they think those assholes who are ruining their PC's when they look at the wrong porn. Any method of openly manipulating technology against someones personal wishes should not be used, it re-enforces the dangerous hacker bit.
